Possibly not because he tends to be loose quite a bit and he could improve his DE.
Without knowing his exact disposal efficiency I can't imagine he has much to improve, I can't think of a player in our side that I would rather have the ball, his kicking and decision making is brilliant

His DE is 75% which is actually ludicrously high for the amount of aggressive kicks he takes, that most players would stuff up, but he nails with regularity. I’d love to know his kick rating, because I reckon it would be through the roof.

His kick efficiency is 67%. Given the difficulty of the kicks he’s attempting, I’d say that’s extremely high. He doesn’t bite off the tough kicks and we aren’t sitting in ninth with an 8-5 record.

Conversely, to improve his DE%, all he need do is kick long to a contest and pass the onus of creating opportunity to others.

I much prefer he continue to take his chances.

Therein lies why I don’t care about those stats.

Yeah, a criticism on grounds of DE% is nonsense. He's almost producing at the level that Rory Laird was when he made his 2 AA teams. His last two games have been superb

Hes a good kick especially his short kicking, he tends to takes risks and almost always hits the target. His long kicking is generally also good although his long kicks inside of 50 are often not the best directed and have been interecepted quite a bit. I think this is because his kicks are staying the air a fair time and are fairly easy to read and mark.

They should hang less Stronger he gets in his Legs and Core but I don't Remember many Long Kicks that where Turnovers

1 in 3 of his kicks is a turnover unless I am reading his stats wrong. Fairly solid kicking with the attacking style that he plays. Mostly from my memory its his long kicks into the forward 50 usually under pressure that results in turnovers. All players make mistakes and he is still improving.

An ineffective kick is not necessarily a turnover. So yes, you’re reading the stats wrong.

IF he is that bad Turning the Ball Over why has no one had a Shot at how Bad his Kicking is then?

I just looked up his stats. I made a mistake using the word turnovers when I should have use ineffective kicking. Only 3-4 turnovers a game. His kicking isnt bad. It is very good. Like I said the only time I see him struggle with his kicking is long kicks inside of 50. Its a small sample size so maybe he is usually better then what my eyes have shown me.

I do get what you say about his Long Kicks because they can at times looks like they get too much air which allows defenders to Spoil the Ball.

Just going off Memory I can't really remember any big Turnovers from him from Long Kicks to our Forward Line

As I say with him Getting Stronger then his Kicks should get more Penetration to them. That is Scary to think he has that kind of Improvement in him

Agree about the scary part. If Nick physically develops more like most players do transitioning from a teenager into a bloke in his mid twenties he could be the best Collingwood player we ever see. As Jen showed earlier his stats are currently running at GOAT level for a first year player.

Shows how well Nick is going

Reminder also of Bucks’ immediate impact
Bucks was 21 and a Magarey and Jack Oatey medal winner.

Nick Daicos barely played any footy the last couple of years because of COVID.

His potential upside is absolutely ludicrous.
