Totally had forgotten about this, looks really good. Haven't played Tour so 3 new courses for me plus the returning ones are all pretty good picks from what I can remember. Solid.

Just bought Sony Bravia XR A80J OLED and it doesn't get along with the Switch. It's plugged into HDMI port 2 while the PS5 is in the HDMI 3 port, when I turn the Switch on it changes the TV to HDMI 3 and I get no signal on 2.

How the f*** do I get the campaigners to get along?

It looks like they have just about everyone in there except for Wario and Wart (maybe they could use those for sequels)

Yep. I think it looks really good and could easily see a few sequels and spin-offs coming from it - a Seth Rogan based DK movie is obvious, but there's a bunch of missing notable characters that could be the basis for sequels - Bowser's kids, Wario/Waluigi, Rosalina could all be sequels, and the fact there no Boos anywhere makes me think I wouldn't be surprised to see a Luigi's Mansion movie too.

And I'm all for it. Give me the Mario cinematic universe, I'm not resting until Waluigi leads a movie.

I am hoping for a spin off movie with Sonic and Mario, a Parks and Rec Réunion with Jean-Ralphio and Andy Dwyer

They should cast Aubrey Plaza to voice Amy Rose (Sonic's on and off again girlfriend) too !

Really enjoying Pokemon: Violet so far, haven't experienced any of the teething problems other users/gamers have yet (bought the online download on Friday), I like the storyline and new generation of Pokemon so far.

I’m currently playing Gear of War on a 360, a system with half a gigabyte of RAM and 16 year old hardware and I would definitely say the game looks better than Scarlet and Violet.

Game Freak simply aren’t the most talented devs nor are they provided with the adequate time and resources by the Pokémon Company to create a game free of performance issues.

Have you seen the latest sales figures for the Switch? It's still the best selling console in Japan and it has shown a massive increase of sales in UK and Europe in recent times.

They are likely working on one, but probably in no need to rush one out giving the remarkable sales and profit margin of The Switch.

The other thing aswell is making sure they have the supply to meet demand, they won’t want to have the same issues that PS5 and Xbox had with nobody able to get it.

True but developers are having a hard time trying to port their games over and are jumping off. Switch is a dumping ground for Indie/mobile type games imo If they cant port over their games to Switch they won't bother making games for it.

Imagine how much better a game like Pokemon Scarlet/Violet ran and played on more beefier hardware

You do realise that there's just as much indie/mobile crap on Xbox and PlayStation right?

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet didn't need beefier hardware, it just needed to be optimised better.

The Switch doesn't need to rival the specs of Xbox or PlayStation, it's a console that people own along with them and it's a significant reason why it's so successful because it provides something you don't get from the others. There's really no reason to change unless you can improve it without sacrificing that uniqueness.

No it dosen't need the same specs as the current Xbox and Playsation. Nintendo could make a handheld that's on par with a PS4 the Tegra chip they used was outdated already when the Switch launched.
