This man's role is to enter 16 and 17 year old young men's houses and meet with their parents, to portray why he is the best option as a player manager for their child. He earns a percentage of their wage for negotiating on their behalf at the club and representing them in business issues. He flys nationally and internationally seeking the best talent globally to represent, living it up no matter where he goes.
Basically his life was clover with expensive cars, VIP access, generating money for minimal 'show me the money' appearances.
And he goes and does this.
What a ********.
Keep in mind all the St.Kilda scandal and see how the AFL handled that situation as a whole, when it concerned a few players. Now I want to see how the game handles something as slimy as this.
De-registration, No new clients (never mind the old ones jumping ship), Police involvement, Sue, Divorce........ this might have just allowed the Saints to dodge a bullet in the short term.

If this was the first time it happened to her I could see that claim been made (although it's without merit as nothing illegal has occurred since he's not in a position of power) but FFS, I'd argue there's only one predator in this story. And a complete dumbshit of a player manager.

To those who think the girl knows what she is doing. Having been a smart arse 17 yo girl myself once I can assure you she thinks she knows what she is doing.

I am actually gobsmacked by some of the comments on this thread (and that is saying alot as I have read my far share of dirt on here in my time)...
Being a female, I can't believe some of the things that this girl has done and I do not condone it in anyway.. you play with fire, you get burned.. But the comments about her are disgraceful. She is not a dog, she is obviously very very very troubled and still young no matter what experiences she has been through.
HOWEVER...
When a 47 year old takes alcohol to a 17 year old girls apartment, with the track record that she has... well you deserve everything you get...
Yes, she may have contacted him originally, but you are older and should know when to stay away... what a moron!

Why are people enabling her behaviour?
She is not inocent, and her age means nothing in this. She has made a conscious decision to set him up and screw him over even having recording devices to capture his actions. Yes, he's a freaking moron for falling for it, but why reduce her responsibility in this situation.

I don't know how you old you are, but when I was 17, I had no idea about anything.. I have no doubt she will regret this behaviour when she is older and when she is not the angry girl that she is now. I don't know anyone that is mature enough at 17 to make sensible decisions...
