All 13 teams in the ODI Super League played 24 games between 2020 and 2023, except Afghanistan (18), Pakistan and India (21 each).

I think they've just been poorly coached and made some strange selection decisions (hello, Ben Stokes).

They may have played games but go check out the squads they selected for warm up games against Ireland, Bangladesh and even against the Aussies. They were their B squads. The majority of their World Cup squad would have been lucky to play half a dozen ODI's in the last 12 months.

And Australia has just played a bunch of ODIs featuring Matt Short, Aaron Hardie, Spencer Johnson and Tanveer Sangha.

Saffers absolutely destroyed the Kiwis last night. They are a very well rounded team. Should be an India v SA final

very good side

But why are we not batting first when we win the toss ? South Africa are traditionally poor at chasing. Get the runs on board and then hopefully have some scoreboard pressure
same as in the Aussie game

23 out 33 games so far where the winning margin has been 100+ runs or the chase being achieved with 10 overs and/or 6+ wickets in hand. Only 2 have gone right down to the wire. Probably only 4 games (the 2 Netherlands won, Afg v Poms, SL v Pak) have been won by the team who seemed to be behind at the change of innings, and none of those ended up that close.

The tournament as a whole is interesting, some great individual moments, a few upsets, but a lot of the games are kind of boring with most following a very predictable script.
