No one REALLY gives a rat's arse about over rates - players, umpires, referees, administrators. Every now and then a team will randomly cop a whack, but literally nothing gets done about insisting on 90 overs a day.

They’ll always finish the over UNLESS there is poor light, Rain or Injury.

Teams get fined and you get points docked from the Test Championship for slow rate and multiple offences means the captain is banned for a game.

However, the exception is if you bowl the opposition out in under 80 overs it doesn't how slow you bowl your overs.
