If that’s even remotely true (we are all guessing atm), then Ziebell needs to fall on his sword. The crap of the last 3-4 years has happened under his watch as skipper.

I have been critical of Noble this year for the game plan, the way the players presented and his selections.

With some of the intel coming out of the club the last couple of days I’m slightly leaning toward the opinion that he isn’t to blame and it really is the shit campaigner leaders and sooks at the club letting us down.

18 months post Shaw & it remains a toxic environment.

Totally agree. Still feels like we don’t have elite football brain professionals filling the most important positions at the club. Too many amateurs.

What I was really disappointed to read was Dan McPherson acknowledging they didn’t help David as well as what they could have following the Brisbane game given David’s frustration and emotional state after the pathetic loss.

Thats why a level-headed, experienced football GM is worth their weight in gold. They read the play and defuse an impending situation. Unfortunately we don’t appear to have one! Surprise surprise.

That's a fair call; there's clearly a governance issue involved, and the administration needs to be active in addressing it.

I might add I'll be interested to see whether the player leadership group has something to say
