im guessin u thought of 37 coz of the wce game where we dedicated the game to him n held up his 37 b4 and after the game. Reason was he wanted dees fans to wear a melb jumper that meant something to them, n he held that one up at his press conference because it was the jumper he ran over the mark in 87, thus meant somethin to him. i think thats y

Scotty Thompson's number for melb was 6, he's number 5 at crows. But trengrove till stay if we pick him up, we should hopefully be in the finals when he starts to come of age and wont want to leave

I am one for this, 31 is a club icon and Scully is going to be a club icon, Number 5, Hird, Buckley, Trengove, It just sounds like it was meant to be. Jurah is like nothing we have ever seen before, who was the last star to wear 48? Well heck why not create a number 48 Melbourne, It is obscure, original and unique, Much like the man himself!

*FWIW, Trengove was outstanding for Sturt in the Finals series, when the game got Physical the Kid really relished tthe opertunity, the game (SANFL) is if not harder on the body than AFL footy, Eqal to. And this 18 year old boy took it all and thrived! Honestly a GEM, will be the pick of the bunch from this years draft. Scully while a star has alot of Chris Masten to him. Both going to be amazing!
