I went to the game tonight, as a neutral that chase down on Saad was amazing. One of the quickest blokes in the league getting caught by one of the tallest, great stuff.

The crowd thrive off it, but that’s what he brings. Fantastic player to watch

Wonder how badly they need to go for the Dodo to get the sack.

Easier too blame the coach rather than the very questionable draft/trading practices. You see it's extremely important to win trade week, at all costs.
Have to have something to sell hope to the supporters with so much non success.
That Shiel deal was a real winner massive point of difference to the side. 2x 1st for a reasonably quick but poor disposal mid, like you couldn't have found a better option at the draft.
Bombers have always been about the quick fix, just ensures that they are not going to be in the hunt for a Premiership anytime soon

So true, he just isn't a big game player. Aside from the hawks final in 2016 he was really struggling. He did set up a few in the GF though it has to be said. About 4 field kicks out on the full as well.

Hard for me to hate Essendon, I grew up in the area and it was the team I picked when I had to barrack for someone. Late 90s early 00s nostalgia. Happy to hate Geelong all day every day though.

There's a reason they still play him when he's only capable of about 50-60% game time. He's a serious genetic freak being able to move like that at that size. Would be in the conversation for best player in the competition if he hadn't had this horrible run over the last couple of years.

Geelong make it easy to hate them. The place is so insular, "go home factor" ffs it's down the road!!!!

I have family that live there now and the cats are just shoved down their kids throat, at auskick at school.... terrible.

Scott, Duckwood, Dangerfield, their fans not to mention the media circle jerk of Ling and Brownless, jon anderson on herald sun + other journos. Brownless in particular, a dinosour of yesteryear that offers no knowledge, no insight and no laughs.

Oh and yes I hate Essendon too, always moving or trying to move in on our Western Suburb heartland.... they don't represent you! They dont represent battlers!

Not true. He was pretty bloody good in the Hawthorn semi final and I thought he stood up in the Adelaide elimination final despite a hamstring complaint.

North is probably not much better than Essendon, but I'd take any of Carlton, Hawks or Saints over Essendon if I were a player

His best game was probably vs. Hawthorn and that was still a pretty quiet game by his standards.

He should be the player who goes to another level in a final but seems to have the opposite affect when the pressure mounts up.
