It is wrong to pathologically hate a club so much and why I refrain from such behaviour 😉
It's mainly their supporters I'm not a fan of. 3 wins to start the year and they turn floggish... who wouldn't dislike a team whose supporters racially vilify JUH

Match write-up already asking if they can go all the way ... geez

More than fair enough mate.

We all have clubs and supporters that we can’t stand more than others. Fairly obvious who mine are.

Personally I couldn’t give a rats ass about the Saints.

All clubs have supporters that did what one of theirs did to Jamarra though.

Who is/was D.B Cooper?

How did Ollie Wines win a Brownlow ahead of Marcus Bontempelli?

These are 2 questions that could be a mystery until the end of time.

True ...

Can't really forget they're one of those supporter bases that had a crack at the dogs for the 2016 flag. They're still chippy about it.

Probably because you can't swim at St kilda beach with only 1 flag

Pretty impressive by the Saints.

Didnt think much of them pre season, but they’ve certainly played well in all three games.

They’ve been great. It feels like they’ve voodoo magic’d their opponents into making ****ing stupid decisions every time they get the ball, but I suppose some of that is down to their pressure.

I don’t think they’re a finals team though. Someone always starts 7-2, 8-4 or similar but drops like a stone when people find them out. Best guess is the saints start like that but end up with 11 or 12 wins and miss September.

Because they won more games than us. Never mind that that Cripps was getting gifted votes last year in Carlton losses.

Because we crumbled in the last three rounds vs beatable opponents on paper, and used Bont in the Ruck. Was probably his best chance to win it as well. We pretty much cost him it really. Plus Wines got kissed on the D a bit in a few games. I'm sure Bont will take his Premiership Medal over a Brownlow Medal any day.

Just like they did last year lol

Saints super impressive. It does show that Lyon is one of the best coaches going around. With Steele out how many A graders do they have?
very much a system based team, every one has their role, everyone on the same page and committed. They will make the 8 but with so little talent cannot see them going very far. They would be bottom 4 with 14 other coaches leading this team including our Premiership coach.

Coaches have a huge impact of teams success and Fly and Ross are the perfect examples. Bevo is the other example as the Dogs talents greatly exceeds Pies and Saints.

The Saints don’t have a crap list, it’s just a middle of the road one that should be in the finals conversation, just like it was under Ratten. Their best result so far is beating the garbage we’ve dished up to start the season.

Kudos to the saints, they’ve played proper footy the first few rounds. But they may have only beaten three non-finals sides.

I’m probably going to be wrong, but I doubt they play finals. Their draw is fairly soft but my guess is 11-12 wins and just outside the eight.
