Again, how good would Josh Dunkley be feeling right now.

Who cares?
I think the club should care. A player (our BNF winner no less) in his prime moves to another contender and plays for a consistent and well coached team who secure a double chance and win their way to a prelim.

This decision is completely vindicated as we bomb out of the finals all together after an incredibly frustrating season. The club should be livid we can’t create the structure and culture to achieve the same success. How many other dogs players would be looking at dunks and wondering what if?

Dunkley chose to go to a perennial top 4 side, he didn’t do anything groundbreaking/brave. He’s full of shit.

Was at the game tonight in Brisbane.

Pretty unenjoyable atmosphere.

Even obvious free kicks to the oppo get boo'd relentlessly.

A lot of noise but lacks substance.

Don't get started on the songs.

Go pies.
You have just described the experience of going to literally any football game ever when it's not your own team playing

The board and fans will stop the cope and start to care when more do it this year.

Don't really care who wins this but if Port go out in straight sets the melts from the anti Hinkley crowd will be amazing
Port had a really good run with injuries and built confidence off the back of it. A couple of injuries and they have come back to the pack markedly.

I have said previously that I wasn't sure how they kept winning. Then again Dee's won a flag on an amazing run with Injuries!

Very boring game of footy this. It's just Brisbane kick away, port get a couple back and look back in the game, rinse and repeat.

Feel like Brisbane will just kick away now with all these injuries to port.
It occurs to me that we hear this a lot, even too much. Maybe our game of Australian Rules Football has descended into a kind of nothing.

There was an article out just this morning about what a great bloke Toby Greene is. Just now, his fingers just happened to find another player's eyes.

Uncanny isn't it? Amazing how often those fingers find eyes. It's like they have magnets in them, but you know, he's a great bloke.

It has on many areas. And Kevin Bartlett was 100% correct when he said 4 on the bench combined with up to 80 interchanges has made it a mess. With 18 in each team on the field that’s a whooping 36 men (way more than any other field sport) if you allow them so much interchange you then get all 36 at one end of the field constantly, instead of the traditional half that amount. It creates packs after packs. Halve the bench and limit interchange problems solved. But meatheads like Dangerfield and those that follow American sports want us to continue down the Americanisation of our great game.

Regardless of whether its true or not, saying something like that is incredibly irresponsible
Exactly, it is extremely private and sensitive info. So whether it is true or not, its very poor form for whoever leaked it originally.

And also to fuel the fire by carrying the rumor on, is also not right. Issues surrounding potential self harm issues is not something that should be discussed publically, as it does not help the said person at all. Imagine dealing with whatever issues you are mentally, whilst knowing the whole world now knows and am talking about it. Knowing my own past issues with mental health, it would push me over the edge more if everyone was talking about it.

Looking at the Brayshaw/Maynard incident again , I reckon Brayshaw lost Maynard in the lights . The black and white stripes may have contributed.

In future for night games all players should be daubed in fluorescent paint , and wear a flashing red bicycle light on the front & back of their guernseys. On foggy nights they should yell “Coming through!” when attacking the ball.

Brayshaw should've had cable ties on his helmet.
