This podcast is absolutely brilliant, a must listen. As much detail as I’ve heard about what happened at our club from 05-17. It’s a shame he’s been lost to footy.
Surely he comes back at some stage.

Sort of.Surely he comes back at some stage.
There's a lot of experience that he holds, and some genuine success.
He’s critical to that success at Brisbane. The story about Neale is a very interesting listen and Noble was absolutely key in this.Sort of.
He didn't win a flag with Brisbane and DJR have gone backwards in Supercars with him.
Unfortunately it doesn’t sound like it, very definitive at the end when asked if he would ever come back to footy. Seems a very forward looking guy and doesn’t want to go back now he’s made this career change.Surely he comes back at some stage.

Noble is vastly superior to our current incumbent & the Crows now have better structure.Surely he comes back at some stage.

Unfortunately the media attacks on him during his time at North took a toll, he did not leave open a return to footy at all and seems very happy with his decision. Clarko hasn't done any better with that list (which is probably better now) and doesn't cop anywhere near the same heat.Noble is vastly superior to our current incumbent & the Crows now have better structure.
Hmmm... whole year?
They're not better off without him at all.Port are better off without him. Seen him put in some weak efforts on the field over the years. The exact type of player you don't want in your team if you want to win a premiership.
Said at the time i though Noble made a strange career choice to coach the Roos who had an awful list.Unfortunately the media attacks on him during his time at North took a toll, he did not leave open a return to footy at all and seems very happy with his decision. Clarko hasn't done any better with that list (which is probably better now) and doesn't cop anywhere near the same heat.
He also mentioned that Phil Walsh is the best footy tactical mind he's ever come across (Sando said the same in another Sacked podcast ep) and has no doubt he would have won at least one or two flags as a senior coach.
Saw how much they missed him in finals. They're not better off without him at all.
He's close to their most important player

Noble goes into the decision to coach North in that interview. It was his ultimate career goal to become an AFL senior coach and he had to take the opportunity when it presented, or another one might not come.Said at the time i though Noble made a strange career choice to coach the Roos who had an awful list.
I rated his time at both the Crows & Lions... & would have him back in an instant over our incumbent as vastly superior operator.
Was coaching & career suicide.Noble goes into the decision to coach North in that interview. It was his ultimate career goal to become an AFL senior coach and he had to take the opportunity when it presented, or another one might not come.
Bring him back as a board member?Unfortunately the media attacks on him during his time at North took a toll, he did not leave open a return to footy at all and seems very happy with his decision. Er no but not because of him though. Their current driver line up is not the best and they lost their best engineer to a rival, however they will be getting the current champion and Bathurst winner next season.Sort of.

Coaches get screwed over by club culture more than their ability. North has been an irrelevant club in its entire history even when they were dominating the 90s. Like the Bulldogs, saints they will be the same 100 years from now. Just crap and irrelevant with the need to be carried. Gold Coast and GWS look destined to fall into the same category.Unfortunately the media attacks on him during his time at North took a toll, he did not leave open a return to footy at all and seems very happy with his decision.
