Tredrea's $6M appeal for dismissal from channel 9 failed.

He still can't work out his contract wasn't renewed because he wasn't a good news reader & was given warnings... but he keeps running his anti-vaxxer reasoning.

Wants to take it to the high court to fund his lawyers next holiday.
FMD, how much will it cost him to take it to the High Court?

And if he loses, he'll be up for gazillions in Lawyer's fees I assume?

He's already up, was ordered to pay 9's costs as well.

They were able to provide documentation showing they thought he was no good already. I guess while going on air to disagree with his own employer wasn't enough to get him sacked on its own, given he was already on thin ice it was ok to pull the trigger.

Unless someone is funding him, reckon he may change of heart.

I'd like to say it is a bit of a grey area, paying his contract out because he doesn't get an injection...but two court cases kinda disagree with my view
It was definitely sorta legal at the time. And if you go full libertarian with it, the employer should be able to make their own call on working conditions. If you go full USA on it you should be able to fire people with no cause too. So free market ftw.

Only the first ive heard of his work performance. As far as covid goes, everything is legal around dismissal for not getting vaxxed. This is why we need a royal commission though. It will help clarify cases and whether the steps to force vaccines on staff is needed in the event of future pandemics.

I suspect he is being funded. I cant find any info but if the court systems were under the vaccine mandate which most government departments were, which would include the high court then he has very little chance of them ruling in his favour.

But thats an assumption. However the feds have constitutional experts on call and id be staggered if they werent consulted prior to introducing all these mandates.

SP won’t be happy with this outcome.

Their entire defence was that it was performance based, him having made numerous mistakes. They didn't argue that it was vaccine based, he did.

Who is he on here?
There are a few on here who are of similar thinking.

Just check out the Australian politics board in the past 24 hours.

It's incredible how many are still unhinged about covid.
