The irony being is that he was so close to being a Crow via Father-Son.
A bullet dodged he wasn't a difference player and then there was the downside of the rifts he caused with the playing group causing Shaun burgoyne to leave, although Shaun's career ended up pretty underwhelming. Chad cornes on the other hand was a champ you'd take every day of the week

Thats Kane's go to line but the premiership he was a bench player and the b&f's probably a measure of the toxicity they had going on down there, if kane wins four and Chad none then there's something wrong
What? He was 3rd in the norm smith voting 😂

Where does that rate him amongst people in that field?
Kane would be in the top 10% of afl achievements.
Kyrigos? Top 40% maybe?
1.2 million people in Australia play tennis at some level

Kyrgios at his time was the best by a considerable margin

641,000 play Australian football. At his best, Kane was top 10 if you’re being generous.

Would make him the equivalent of the 20th best Australian tennis player. Who is the current 20th best Australian tennis player? Exactly.

You’re changing things to suit your argument, by limiting Kyrigos to Australia.
Kane was probably the best Glenelg listed player at some point.

Nick has also won a grand slam doubles title.

How many people can say that in the history of tennis ??

Only because Kane plays a sport no other country plays so can only look at through where Kyrgios ranks amongst his countrymen.

If Kane played against Swiss, Spanish and Serbians, then you wouldn’t need to qualify the argument.

$1m-a-week for nearly TEN years: City superstar inks seismic deal to stun Premier League

Glory be.

Erling Haaland has signed a new 9.5-year deal at Manchester City that will keep him at the Etihad until 2034, the Premier League champions announced on Friday.

As such, the contract value is unclear with UK reports varying from £200million in the Daily Mail, to £260million — or £26m a year (A$51M)

Fair to say Haaland is way, way more relevant than Kornes or Kyrigos...

Played as a tagger on Simon black. Maybe the norm smith voters valued tagging 😃 Peter burgoyne and pickett the difference makers from memory and if akermanis hadn't had a brain fade probably port don't win it at all.
If the Lions were not FORCED to play an "away" Home Prelim Final, they would have arguably have won the GF in 2004.

11 career titles actually.

1 Grand Slame doubles title, and is a sought after commentator across the world.

Gerard WHately is a sought after commentator too, not sure how it's relevant to judging someone based on their sporting performance. Kyrgios is infamous due to him being a very straight shooter in pressers and social media. But his tennis career is wholly mediocre. Got to 13 for a month, stayed around 15 for a couple of months and hung around the top 20 for a few months but that's about it. I love the bloke, reckon he's hilarious, but his tennis career has been very ho hum.

See i reckon it's been fairly good for a guy with 2 weapons. A serve and a forehand, that's about it. In terms of actual tennis talent, old mate Bernie had FAR more strings to his bow.

Hence why Kane is wrong, there's been far more disappointing tennis players in regards to wasted talents come from this country, let alone sportspeople.

You can make a case to say he gets more attention than he deserves, which is probably right, but his bodys been shot for 5 years
