Is it just me for some reason, (haven’t posted on the Port board for a long time) or have they circled the wagons and prevented other supporters from posting on a lot of their threads?

I think generally club boards have become more insular over time (ours included)

Social media has become increasingly combative. Trolling / ribbing / mocking / banter have become par for the course to the point that "safe havens" have needed to develop. Particularly when a club is at a low ebb.

Not great and I'd prefer it to be more open but perhaps an inevitable evolution

nah.. the 50m penalty isnt the problem.. its the ridiculously fu**n stupid “stand” rule thats the problem.

literally the fu**n dumbest rule ever introduced into any sport.. ever. the morons that came up with it need to be beaten to death with baseball bats.

Have to agree. You could see the Tigers players baiting for the fifty a few times - similar to what Port were doing with the exclusion zone with us last week

While professional players shouldn’t fall for this stuff its sad we have teams training to sucker umpires into providing ridiculous penalties - they have enough as it is

As others have said - get rid of the 50 unless it’s someone getting barrelled after marking or disposing of the ball and all this ticky touch rubbish becomes a 25m

Step 1 for the Suns is to turn Metricon into a fortress. Or at least somewhere they are a decent chance of winning.

Should be asking for exclusively day home games. Get themselves conditioned to the heat/humidity. Run over the top of the visiting clubs who aren't.
