Port Adelaide's first month of competitive football has not delivered much joy on the field either in the AFL or SANFL. But off the field, the club is stronger than in previous dark chapters.

All Rucci said was off field they are stronger than 2012 which is correctly reported but that will soon disappear after Hinkley get the sack mid next year leaving their list in a worst shape as when he took over.

Butters, Duursma and Rozee are no Gray, Boak and an emerging Wingard. And their other 25-26 years old and younger; Marshall lol, Georgiadias can be A grader, Hayes lol (his ground coverage after his ACL is as slow as Sloane at the age of 32), Houston can be a solid B+ grader, SPP/Drew are solid B grader, Burton can be a solid B+ grader, Bonner lol and Farrell/Bergman can be solid B graders.

It may have been a charity match, but it certainly was good goal. Selling candy, then a banana from 30m for a man of his age and athletic ability considering, was impressive.
