The Feats of Strength
And no first rounder this year.Grimes too.
They probably need to start a rebuild process next season.
Their list is ****ed.

Almost every Flag winner in the 21st century at least, has had elite blue chip mids in their team.I am being more philosophical here. We need another A grade mid or maybe 2 to really set us up as our front half and back half looks fairly set..I think it is much harder to land what we need to propel us right up the ladder compared to what port need with their 3 top end young mids running the show
Time will tell who if any of the teams gets to the summit
GWS feeling good about having Richmond’s 1st rounder...And no first rounder this year.

Dawson absolutely could be - he has only just moved in there and has been a revelation. Rachele could also be. But a Will Day would have been such a good get for us in hindsight..shame he has signed on for the forseeableAlmost every Flag winner in the 21st century at least, has had elite blue chip mids in their team.
Ours are not and will never be.
Fingers crossed on Pedlar to keep developing and get a tank where he can rack up ball..he is the one on the list with huge potential to go with Dawson and Rachele if we can't snare another A graderI think the mid we need is also going to have leg speed, not going to be easy to find
Yes, my apologies definitely agree here. We do need to bat deeper than just Dawson, we really need 3 to 4 players running through there that are elite or very close to that.Dawson absolutely could be - he has only just moved in there and has been a revelation. Edit - Pedlar is an intriguing one - he might never be a 25 + possession player but he could be that real tiger in the middle for stints and end up being a tough, high energy clearance specialist
I have no concerns about Pedlar, he’ll be a beautyFingers crossed on Pedlar to keep developing and get a tank where he can rack up ball..he is the one on the list with huge potential to go with Dawson and Rachele if we can't snare another A grader
Would be a fair chance.Truck to do a Ratten and be caretaker coach of Richmond?
The one that could add to next year may be JonesFingers crossed on Pedlar to keep developing and get a tank where he can rack up ball..he is the one on the list with huge potential to go with Dawson and Rachele if we can't snare another A grader
big callThe one that could add to next year may be Jones
Like Hawthorn being on top for 5/6 years takes a toll on the list.Grimes too.
They probably need to start a rebuild process next season.
Yep but if he maintains his current form for the remainder of the season, start with mids nxt preseasonbig call
I am open to trying anything to improve the team...but I like the phrase - hope for the best, plan for the worst. I would be moving every stone to try and get in an A grade mid OR a young mid that projects that way, all whilst doing what you suggestYep but if he maintains his current form for the remainder of the season, start with mids nxt preseason
Doesn’t mean we don’t stop improving our list, Jones maybe a break glass if we can’t land oneI am open to trying anything to improve the team...but I like the phrase - hope for the best, plan for the worst. Getting an elite A grade mid has the biggest priority this off season.I am open to trying anything to improve the team...but I like the phrase - hope for the best, plan for the worst. I doubt the supporters would be too fussed given they have won 3 premierships in 7 years. I would happily take that and be okay with a decade of pain.GWS feeling good about having Richmond’s 1st rounder...
Richmond are now in no man's land.
Look, if we could get Redman as a FA - brilliant as he will certainly add to our side..but absolutely we need to be aggressive trying to prise out one of the better younger mids in the leage and if they have SA roots more the betterGetting an elite A grade mid has the biggest priority this off season.
Dawson aside, if we can't find an A grade midfielder either from within/trade/draft the season is a bust.Getting an elite A grade mid has the biggest priority this off season.
Agree. Think it makes them more likely to winTeams usually fire up in a caretaker's first match.
You somehow consider the transition of Rachele into the midfield and continual improvement of Soligo as a midfielder a "bust"? Aren't we after A grade midfielders? A bonus will be seeing Pedlar more on ball end of this season.Dawson aside, if we can't find an A grade midfielder either from within/trade/draft the season is a bust.
