5 games at the G since 2018 (3 since 2019)
How putrid is that, haven’t won there since 2017, against Carlton
Surely our fixture is better next year now we aren’t a complete rabble? As a comparison, Port has already played at the MCG twice and Marvel once, while we haven’t had a game in Melbourne yet and have travelled to 4 venues that are not the main home ground for our opposition.

Does the state of our team really matter with scheduling mcg games?

FWIT At least 1 of our players considered good enough by the "Experts".

Charlie Ballard interesting for me as he was pick 42 in 2017. We picked McPherson at 40.

Watching Carlton last night really shows why you need players who can play under pressure.

When the game could have been won they had no one. It was frustrating as a neutral to watch.
They are playing scared, not prepared to give to runners from behind or quick handballs to break the game open, it must be a shit place to be at the moment with all the in house shit fighting.

In retrospect, the hype after we smashed Carlton is looking pretty embarrassing. Have had some other genuinely good wins though.
No other team has smashed them like we did.
Even collingwood only did them by 28, Brisbane by 26 and bulldogs by 20.

I think that's more down to how awful Carlton are when they play in Adelaide. We smashed them this year and their average losing margin actually went down.
