People were shocked when he came back on, but I wasn't I've seen enough of their games over the years to know exactly how they roll with this stuff.

Thankfully it seems like they've now pushed the envelope one too many times with this sort of crap and hopefully the AFL finally does something about it.

I mean this is what they will try to do but there is no benefit and plenty of downside in going hard for a mid table finish. We'd be better off losing the rest of our games and getting a better pick.

Are you me? I did exactly the same, had people around me saying they cant, will have to concussion test them. I said hasn’t stopped them before, they have form. Richmond MCG last year, 2 players with bleeding head knocks, both back on within 5 or so minutes.

Terrible look even more so in the current climate

I made the mistake of going to have a quick read of their board earlier on my lunch break. Oh my… they aren’t happy. It’s insane how OTT they are lol.

They are still (unfortunately) in a good spot in terms of ladder position, they only need a couple more wins to secure top 2. Look at the overall standard of the competition around them.

And as for Ken, I think they are seriously underestimating the fallout if he doesn’t stay on. There won’t be a player revolt as such, but if he was to be moved on against his will, you do wonder what sort of “buy in” the next coach will get, if Ken is as loved by the players as what has been talked about.

Its great to beat them when we recognise we have a way to go in the midfield. They have prioritised their midfield over all else and are now looking to fill holes with trade ins. Had they had a couple of decent KPD's and a quality ruck, it might have made things different on the weekend. They may snare Grundy and if they get Ratugolea and Zerk Thatcher, it will help them.

BUT - we were without Rankine who tore them a ew one in the 1st showdown and Rachele who is going to be a star, Butts goes down mid game and we are without our best defender, so lots to like at our end if we can really grab an A grade mid or 2

Many people thought the Pear mids would torch us. Didn't happen. They won centre clearances 11 to 8, but we pantsed them at stoppages.
Our mids tackled hard and often. So hard in fact that two of their vaunted 'stars' were looking meek and mild by halfway through the 1st. Not JHF. He's a hard nut.
The point to this ramble is to ask you and others if we really need an a-grade mid or 2 considering the talent on our list?
