I've seen us chuck away a few games this season but nothing like Melbourne's effort tonight.

Wasn’t even that, they butchered a heap of entries too and kept bombing blindly in the 1st half. A classic Melbourne game though, dominate all the stats but lose due to poor efficiency up forward.

I’m not convinced at all Collingwood will win it.

Despite what the biased Victorians say, playing big games at the Grand Final ground throughout the year is a massive advantage.

Take the Pies, how much experience their younger players have gained playing big games at the MCG in front of 80k+ crowds.

You can't replicate that pressure/noise/environment.

Massive leg up for the Victorian teams.

Take the Pies, how much experience their younger players have gained playing big games at the MCG in front of 80k+ crowds.

You can't replicate that pressure/noise/environment.

Dangerfield said that you lose your concentration when the Collingwood chant occurs. You struggle to communicate with your teammates and can barely think straight. Playing your "neutral" grand final on another teams home ground. Nothing to see here...

If you are playing a MCG based club in a Grand Final you have to be a 5% better team. That's alot in a game of football. You look at the WC team of the 2018 premiership. Talent wise Collingwood weren't in the same ballpark but yet they got within a goal.
