My thoughts
Tonight will be close - Collingwood to hold on in a thriller
Brisbane to tear Carlton a new one - reckon this will be a blow out

Collingwood v Brisbane Granny, will be tight early with Collingwood to pull away late 3rd quarter and last quarter

Port went to s**t the week he jumped ship, just before 119....

On SM-A325F using BigFooty.com mobile app

2007 was the greatest bait and switch of all time.

Leading up to the 2007 GF all the Port supporters did was try and claim that the GF was proof that Port were about to dominate the AFL and Rucci was writing articles about how Port had re-written the rule book and had gone from winning a premiership to building their next premiership squad within 4 years.

Crap like that is what obviously make Tribey believe that barracking for Port was going to be a gravy train of constant success.

Then 119 happened and the outcome was the complete opposite of what they thought was going to happen, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch of campaigners.

If I back these outcomes and they don’t come in, will you reimburse me?

I can't shake the feeling of Brisbane choking it. If Brisbane gets a break of 4 goals it'll be over, but if Carlton can do what we did and just hang with them, and not let them get a run of goals on, I reckon they take it. If Carlton are within a goal at 3/4 time they'll win imo.

But the Crows board positions are a lot of time invested for no financial return. I think it's fair enough to want more turn over of the board positions (and maybe have better talent) but the folks there would be doing it because they want the best for the Crows.

This honestly shows a complete lack of understanding at how people wind up on these sort of boards, especially in a city like Adelaide.

They’ve turned on Dixon big time.
Someone even posted on there that Tex would have been their best forward since Schulz 😂
Top 5 most goals in a season for either Crows or Port:

1. Modra 1993 119 goals (lol)
2. Modra 1997 81 goals
3. Walker 2023 76 goals
4. Modra 1996 75 goals
4. Tredrea 2004 75 goals

....

9. Schulz 2014 62 goals (behind Betts & Jenkins)

I remember back when when the morons were claiming, "Dixsun betta than Walkur 111!!!!"

They're clueless over there, in terms of forwards that have played for either of the SA AFL clubs (excluding Carey) it's Modra, Tredrea and Walker and then daylight, no one else even comes close.

Trying to claim that Walker is the equal/lesser of Schulz is just stupid and typical of the type of #portlogic that exists over on their board.
Dixon's highest season total goals of 46 in 2017 & 2021 doesn't even make our top 20. It's a lower record than Brett Burton's 48 and Jason Porplyzia's 52.

If tex was actually a powa player they’d talk about him like he was the greatest forward of all time and a top 5 player the game has ever had in any position.

Just remember this weekend that:
1. The VFL will be frothing over the chance for a Coll V Carl GF
2. The executives have bonus pay clauses for attendance and TV ratings
3. Gil the Dill has hung around like a bad smell - he also happens to be a lifelong Carlton supporter.

Expect some of the most one sided umpiring ever seen.

If Tex played for the Power, they would of won at least 1 flag in the last 10 years.
Their forward line has stunk for a good decade.

Remember when Rucci had that article way back in 2014 stating that Crows fans wishing they supported Port Adelaide.

So funny that article.

The good news is if they start end up like they did in 2011 and 2012 then their home games will then be held at Alberton.

Can you imagine them bringing the tarps out at Adelaide Oval?

I thought he was a Saints supporter.
Google says he was on a Blues list or something but seen at crows grand final in 1997 wearing a crows scarf.

Collingwood 20+

Brisbane have to grab hold of Carlton early because if its within 3 goals at 3/4 time then the 23rd men will shift the contest
Third consecutive away game in a row, off a 6 day break for GWS its going to be telling. (4 consecutive away games if you count the bye, its a lot of travel)

Pies best chance to enter a GF since 2018 looms here.

Lions unbeatable at home all season, I can see them blowing the Blues away early, stats suggest this is the likely scenario, same with the Pies game as well.

A vaguely remembered this and thought surely not.

Then again its Port and Rucci so anything is possible. I searched and came across the article.:$

This newspaper article needs to pass through Crows generations.:rainbow:

Why is this still being discussed - why haven't the AFL come out already to say no, we stopped the crows from doing it and can't now allow other teams to do it. Where is the AFL they need to shut this down now

BOMBERS MIDFIELDER LINKED TO MOVE

Essendon midfielder Dylan Shiel is reportedly in the mix for a move to St Kilda as the Bombers look to free up even more salary cap space.

The Herald Sun reports the Bombers and Saints could thrash out a deal that effectively sees Jade Gresham and Shiel switch clubs.

It explains the Bombers could offer Gresham enough to trigger first-round free agency compensation, which would then see the Saints more willing to part ways with a high-end draft pick in exchange for Shiel.

Given the intricacies, the AFL would need to approve the move, as it did with the Gold Coast Suns’ deal with Geelong last year that saw Jack Bowes and pick No.7 traded to the Cats in a bid to get Bowes’ salary off the Suns’ books.
