Anyone wants a good laugh, look at them potting Dixon. Its like they've only just come to realise how useless he is and how much of a Dick he is.
Fair to say .. even through the bad times, we've mostly loved Tex .. the hate on Dixon over there right now is interesting to say the least

SEN.. you mean Kimbo and the Rooch? I like Dillon but Rooch? As for Bicks, too much of a fence sitter.
Nup I get my fix with day time Whatley, Dwayne and in the arvo I go SEN Vic for Andy and Gazey. Kym is far too parochial but he'd be good to have a beer with. I've liked him over the journey. But he's wearing a bit thin now. and I dont need to speak of Rooch. I enjoyed Rendells weekly spot with them but now that he's gone I dont bother. I did enjoy then a bit this week and last week after the port losses though, but they still find ways to piss me off.
Yeah on bicks though, he's a bit vanilla. Surprised hutchy gave him a job tbh

Well its the second time he has expressed disdain for the supporters. At some stage surely, the supporters have to be right.

It does take them quite sometime to have a light bulb moment
Tex always loved the club .. was a fan before he came to the club

Dixon is into shit tattoos and cars

Their love for him was superficial and was never reciprocated .. and they've got another year or 2 of him in rehab?

I'm getting Pyke and Burton press conference vibes from Port. That interview with Kochie was on that level IMO. Of course with us it took another 12+ months for everything to really blow up.

Koch knows that if Ken goes, he also has to fall on his sword, as well as Davies and a few others.

Will be interesting to watch. They do still have some pretty decent talent at least for their sake.

Champagne Charlie (King Charles - well - king before Charlie Curnow came out of his shell) .. suddenly turns in 2 cent Charlie

A fast and brutal fall from grace .. by his own .. mouth

As I said. The whole PR around a love in behind the scenes at Port is showing cracks. There is a hidden toxic culture and I think we will see it bare all in the not too distant future. Especially if Port dont make finals next year. Which according to Kochie, finals is a fantastic feat.

They're ****ed .. Koch has done a circle and is busy taking them to 2011

I reckon that's a fairly cynical view. Do you know any of the board members from either club personally? Spoken with them? As much as you bag Chappy (and rightfully so at times), he loved our club, he cried for it. I reckon he would have bled for it too. His problem was he was here too long. I think Olsen shows (now, I realise he's a politician) a great attachment to the Club and is fighting hard for us. Unfortunately, BOTH Clubs are still within the AFL constraints for another few years until the licenses are handed back. That will be the telling time I think, where they return the Club to the fans (or if they find a way not to).
I nearly fell off my chair reading this Jen. Rob Chapman is a professional Board seat collector, who had **** all passion for football, let alone the Crows, and was only installed on the board due to our financing arrangements with his bank. He was subsequently "elected" chairman by the board (note all board appointments are AFL ratified).

You have every right to be glass half full when it comes to the Crows, but your love affair with failed administrators at our club is delusional.

I remember my parents telling me about how Mick Nunan took down all the Barrie Robran pictures and premiership memorabilia from the Robran era because he thought that the mentality of the club was too focused on reminiscing from that era and was not hungry enough for success.

I never understood it as a kid, but after seeing the same thing happen with the Crows I can completely understand now why he did it.

We’ve probably still got that 30ft VB banner adorning our admin entrance.

To be fair to Jenny, she ran events in Queensland that Chapman went out of his way to come to, and he spoke very authentically and passionately at them.

Was he bullshitting? Maybe.

But the Crows board positions are a lot of time invested for no financial return. I think it's fair enough to want more turn over of the board positions (and maybe have better talent) but the folks there would be doing it because they want the best for the Crows.

Kochie doesn’t even know his clubs history

He said those complaining now would have complained in 2003 and it’s the exact same situation.

He then said the club made finals and went out in straight sets in 01, 02 & 03.

01 yes but in 02 & 03 they won a final. They were actually building. They won the minor premiership in 03, and made the Prelim.

They didn’t lose a home final to 7th.

But to be fair to Kochie, he was a Sydney Swans fan at the time.
He was a Sydney Swans supporter then....
