we chose childless, but if I had to do it, I reckon sacrifice and bite the bullet early. Chick at work is 42 and her kids are 22 and 20. So instead of pissing away her early 20s on going out etc, theyet go do it at 40 with house, money and careers sorted.

Yeah, but doing that means
1. You don’t enjoy your 20s doing young ppl things with your friends
2. Similarly, at 40, all your friends are doing other things (kids, working hard)

Met a bloke through work who had kids early and then had just had one in his 60’s he said it was great as he was retired and could spend all the time in the world with the last, but he’s hardly going to see her 18th let alone grand kids.
