Well they at least managed to make hay while the sun shined, team wins 3 flags happily disregard anything for the following 10+ years
They may not be as bad. They have the luxury of playing 15-16 games in Victoria and not having to travel every second week. So may be able to scrounge a win or two extra.
First game of course, but hard to see them challenging for the eight this year based on their list profile (contrary to what some of the more optimistic Richmond cheerleaders think).

Luckily their list manager has departed… to West Coast
He has runs on the board with the build and development of the “dynasty” mind you, but would be interesting seeing who has driven some of their recent decisions. They did seem hellbent on not falling away, staying up ala Geelong.

clubs need to be better at managing their list during periods dominate periods
history shows clubs hold on to aging premiership players for way to long
