😂😂😂 the Giants boys are ****ing hilarious

What a world where a bunch of different types of black folk can't even make fun of themselves now without more than likely some short haired white campaigner getting offended for them

Connor Idun (who has Ghanaian heritage) and Lachie Whitfield “enacted a scene from the movie Django Unchained, characterising slavery”.

The Age reported Idun sought permission before the event from teammates Toby Bedford and Harry Rowston (both are Indigenous), Leek Aleer (who has South Sudanese heritage), and Callum Brown (who has Jamaican heritage) and none said they had a problem with him wearing the Django costume.

This is satire, right?
So you're cool with making fun of sexual violence? Acting out rape scenes? Making fun of slavery? Terrorism? Ok. I've said i don't think they should be suspended, but I'm not surprised someone was offended. So my character all of a sudden is in question because I feel that way? You serious??

Did these blokes get in trouble. Was like 10 years ago.

I think they got a please explain. But cmon, times have changed. Acting out rape scenes, slavery and terrorism and making fun of it is poor taste. While I'm not offended by any of it, I can see why some people are. And I'm happy to have my character assassinated on here, that's fine, I really don't give a s*, but all I've said is I'm not surprised it's got some attention and that some comments on here are surprising. But hey, a lot of my opinions are different to most on here.

Pretending to rape a blow up doll as a bit is pretty cringe. I'd be embarrassed for someone if I saw them doing that.

The rest of it is whatever. Floor manager should have shut down the function if staff members were taking issue with it on the day.

Don't think the AFL needed to get involved here. Fining players for 'lack of leadership' is absurd and a terrible precedent.

Roosy's reaction from the time is pretty funny actually.

Roos was in no mood to give the players an excuse and said the duo was extremely embarrassed and remorseful.

"The problem with days like yesterday is they just don't think," Roos said.

"There is no malice. There is just no thought process (that) goes into it and I think that is the worst part about it."

"The reality is they dressed up in that outfit. That is the thing that worries me. You can make as many excuses as you want to make excuses, and as I said I know they're good guys, but the thought process to go in…I think there is no thought process and that is the concern," Roos said.

"The education is 'think about your actions before you actually do them, not after you do them, think about what other people are going to think about what you do'."

Stopped just short of calling them the dumbest campaigners to ever walk the planet.
