8 games in Tassie between Hawf and Norf so there is a very big chance we will be there.
One of the core concessions of the GF being locked in at the MCG forever should be that non-vic teams never play in Tasmania or no more than once every 3 years

Scully to Hawthorn for a future 4th rounder, which will be something like 60-70.

GWS and GC are seriously starting to undermine the integrity of this competition, it's getting ridiculous. The successful Victorian clubs are essentially getting a chance to double dip.

And with PA threatening the GC over the SA draftees, things are looking completely compromised.

I can't see this revolving door slowing without some sort of COLA arrangement or salary cap relief. That might save GWS, but I can't see GC ever recovering.

And Hawthorn, fck me. Like seriously, did they lobby for the expansion clubs and free agency? Because no club has benefited like they have. 3peat in a weakened comp and now raiding their talent.

Yuck.

I’d almost lock it in that that VFL House will send us down to that windswept dung heap next year.

We should be playing at Optus in our next norf game, as we played there this year. The return bout, if there's one, maybe. Then there's the Hawks. We should not be expected to be doing extra travelling at all, period, with all the kilometres we already do.

Given we finished top 6 I don't think we're getting a North double up, especially with Freo being shithouse.

Hopefully, anyway, because knowing the AFL we are going to Launceston this year to play the Hawks as a result.

Freo forward line will be ok next year. Lobb, Hogan, mcarthy, walters and Matera. Granted a few of those have to improve massively from this season, but the potential is there.

Forgetting Taberner - who I rate highly

Mccarthy is a joke and Lobb is very hit and miss.

It takes their forward line to competent and nothing more

Yeah kudos to Bell and the Freo trade team. They finally addressed their forwardline structural problems.

Took em nearly 5 years, but they got there in the end.

Gives them something to kick at.

First you need to back that up with pressure (physical and structural) to maintain territory and secondly you need fluid ball movement to expose defenders.

So Freo have effectively lost Neale and pick 6 and gained Hogan, Lobb and pick 14. Oh and Conca who at worst is handy depth. And a handful of late rounders. Got to hand it to Bell. I'd be stoked with that if I were a Dockers fan.

Took em nearly 5 years, came at the expense of their midfield, and required them turning a blind eye to two strikes but they got there in the end.

EFA.
