What I don't get is if the woman has come forward how can they not know who the player was? Maybe one player took it, shared it with friends and one of them shared it with the world. No offence intended but how dumb do you have to be to not think the photo would make its way out to the public.

Sure, people are not being sensible (assuming they care) allowing photos to be taken of themselves given what can happen but that doesn't excuse it being released without consent. It is potentially a crime and justifiably so. It can have devastating consequences for people. Maybe it shouldn't as the whole world seems somewhat hung up on nakedness but the reality is, it does. It is a complete betrayal of trust and if someone passes around intimate photos of someone else without consent, they deserve the consequences.

It seems from the latest reports they know who it is as there is a particular young star being reported as investigated, with no names.

I totally agree with you, the distribution is a betrayal of trust and just a low act that I don't condone. Whichever player it was needs to cop a decent fine and issue a public apology; however, if you don't put yourself in the position people can't take advantage of it.

What did she think was going to be done with the photograph? He was going to frame it and put it in his living room? Masturbate to it?

Pretty sure avishka5 has done both of these things. And the latter at least 14 times.

So has it been established that she gave consent to the photo but no consent to it being posted online?

Consent for the photo to be shared appears to be what's missing.

Or to put it another way, she was ok with her boyfriend jerking off to it, but not avishka5.
