Get a load of this moron, been messaging me for months since draft period I said I wasn't interested in JVR as we already had Maric

Does he want you to want JVR? And his selling point is he kicked 3 goals in a side that just lost by 6+ goals?

Even Melbourne fans don't like him. Hates Petracca for some reason.

Ignore, he's a serial troll.

First of all, imagine hating Petracca, and two imagine hating him WHEN HE PLAYS FOR YOUR TEAM...if that ain't a troll then I dunno what is

If a poster is roundly mocked by their own club supporters then it's safe to put him on the list.

They thrive on people taking the bait, I ain't got time for that unless I engage with very low effort memes to farm likes.

"Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"

Officiating of our game and how players interact with umps would have to be two of the biggest issues in the game. It's a horrible look that every time the ball rolls out of bounds you've got an opposition player with arms out absolutely aghast that it is not deliberate.

Arguing with the umps and dissent is back in full force and rarely paid. I think if the players were completely banned from appealing the umpire it would take some pressure off them to make the right calls.

Unsure whether it is true but I have also heard there are some incredible umpires who can't get a gig because they cannot bounce the ball up in the centre. I've been pretty staunch in wanting to keep the bounce but I'd happily see it go if the quality of umpiring it unlocked could then improve.
From what I have seen the afl umpiring is a closed shop unionised gig. For exam only 2 can be retired each season under their cba. Coaching etc is jobs for the afl boys on steroids. The feeder comp - mostly vfl is far worse and is run by entrenched unaccountable morons.

Playing the Demons in 4 weeks' time will be easier without Petracca out for me the medium term.

4 broken ribs, lacerated spleen and a punctured lung

Insane he went back on the ground and tried to play it out

Again, we ask how a club doctor can tick that off? Understand they didn’t have the benefit of xrays, but his acute pain might have been an indicator?

And if he could only return by being jabbed (overlooking the wisdom of that) surely that is the definition of performance enhancing?

I'd heard of Collingwood Six Footers but this development of Collingwood Six Foot Underers is concerning.

I can't help but think Petracca is entitled to some protection under the rules with that one. I'm not disputing that Darcy was contesting the drop of the footy but he's surely failed his duty of care to Petracca in the way he's hit the contest. Typically you raise the knee to protect yourself and/or the drop of the footy from someone backing into you. It seems to me like Darcy's approach would have made it less likely for him to get a fist on the ball if anything and flying from the side there seems little call to protect yourself from an impact.

Hmm. Mixed feelings on it. Probably one for the "footy is a contact sport and people sometimes get hurt" file but I reckon Darcy might do it differently if he had his time over.

Hospitalise someone/end their career = Free to play.

Tackle them by holding their jumper with 1 hand while they have 2 arms free = 2 weeks suspended.

AFL is cooked.

Yeah the "potential to cause injury" tax giving you extra weeks whilst actually causing injury means nothing is a bit crazy.

Bush league.

Had this exact whinge to a mate yesterday when he asked why the crowd was booing Maynard and used the term bush league. Baffling
