It's not hatred. It's called using my eyes and brain. If they had actually been convincing in both matches I'd have no problem saying it but to see them stumbling across the finish line and you using that as the standard for getting their s**t together is comical. But somethings too its making the most of yours opportunities which Carlton did. Collingwood have been pretty good at that the last 18 months sometimes not being playing well but staying in touch even if some luck involved but taking advantage - yes they are over all on another level to Carlton in that time but there have been games where they (coll) were well outplayed but stuck in the game.

Unless I didn’t see the right angle, there was in no way enough evidence for an overturn IMO.

But as I said, regardless of that, Carlton got a pretty sweet ride IMO. The things they were allowed to do to Gawn most the night and many crucial calls they got.

In any case, my point wasn’t that Melbourne shouldn’t also blame themselves, as they should, but IMO they have a fair claim to blame others too.

I’d say the dogs, they’ve never made top 4. Melbourne are giving them a good run for it though
But at the same time their forward line is horrible and haven’t been helped with injury and form (petty and melksham going down killed their season), the decision to go and get grundy instead of bringing in another quality tall forward was an arrogant one.
