Shouldn’t be marketing this. Why is this even a thing? We don’t want Freagles, worst supporters in AFL.

After careful consideration, I think maybe it could be a shrewd piece of psychological one-upmanship from the club hahahahaha.

At least his Mrs goes for Freo and can enjoy it but still it's a kick in the teeth to people for example that may have went to every game from 2016-21.

Yeah that's a misstep by the club. Clearly the type that loves attention wearing an Eagles kit to a Freo vs Carlton game (aka a flog) and they're just buying into it.

My 86 year old mum has only missed about a dozen games since 1995.

My Dad, now in his late 70’s has never committed fully to either of the WA teams and as long as one of them is knocking off a Vic team he’s all smiles. Can’t say I’m the same, but if it’s a WC GF I will always put on my WA hat…. so maybe I ain’t much different. Either way, pretty harmless fun, I think a signed jumper warrants an eye roll and is a bit over the top though. Hopeful he caps off his unexpected story by auctioning that off to support our Vets or the kids, now that would be a great way to round out a cracking day!
