I could cut 20 players right now from their list and not even have a passing regret.

They are three to four draft periods away from even being competitive
Then they need to wait until these draftees are in their mid twenties before they could compete. Poor dears would be oh so young.

Great game but , that wtf was that umpiring with that fifty and gifted goal at crucial time?

Far worse holding and tackling without the ball happened 30 second slater at the centre clearance, not a peep out of them.

If you dispose of the ball and are then held by someone who is not in the process of tackling you (which Sloane was not) then you get a free kick and 50. The rule is there so that a player that disposes of the ball has a chance to get to the next contest.

That match was never in doubt, once it got to the last 3 mins anyway. Pies have perfected the game plan to hold onto lead in the last minutes when its tight

It was brought in because Gary Ablett Jnr was trying to use the one two handball to free up space for him to get an unpressured kick, so his opponents were taking him out when he gave off the first handball.

It's a good rule that the umpires totally forget

I know Collingwood winning is better for us, but deep down I still would've preferred to see them lose.

Poor Adelaide though. Lost by 1 earlier this year to them and 2 today.

Then apply that to 15-20 times a game.
