Haha no chance they torched us twice last year.

I'll believe it if I see it.

Mcrae had Longmuir measure tactically both times by a fair margin.
Remember last year when the Demons were unbeatable, taking all teams in their path - then a purple team came to the MCG and showed 'em how. We've beaten the unbeatable before.

I reckon Nisbett will have to be dynamited out of his big chair. He’s the mob boss of WA football & to have survived through all their drug scandals & keep the iron grip on the WA media he has he must have a lot of dirt on a lot of people.

At this point they need to literally burn the club to the ground & start again & he needs to be the first to go if they’re going to get anywhere.

I don’t understand why Simpson doesn’t just walk. Surely his life is a living hell. He could just slip back over East. Disappear somewhere till next year and come back in a media job or assistant. Anything would be better than carrying this cross any further.
Why won’t Simpson walk? It’s called redundancy payout.

I don’t know if it’s been said already but genuinely feel bad for Rueben Ginbey.

Boy grew up a dockers fan and just as were building something special he gets drafted by the slime and is now getting pumped every week.

Fate worse than death
I feel bad for a lot of their young players to be honest. It's not really their fault at all that they're in this situation. Just had the misfortune getting drafted by them. Especially someone like Maric. Work so hard, get overlooked in the draft, then work hard the whole season only to be TOOO good and end up on west coasts list and having to deal with 171 point losses.

The older, more experienced guys are the once who I really dislike, and am enjoying seeing getting smashed every week. Kelly, Yeo, Gaff, Shuey, Darling, Sheed etc. Fat, overweight, putting in zero effort, and making it that much harder for their young guys to perform.

So, ah…

Damian Drum’s worst loss in 2001 was 92 against Port Adelaide. Also lost about 5 or 6 games by less than four goals.

Drum had this going in his head

Homer Simpson Thinking GIF

This is quite something.

Yes that fremantle 2001 side was bad.

2 wins and 20 losses isnt great to look back upon. Should of got 4 or 5 wins that season. Still would of been bad though.

I am still bitter about freos 2016 season when freo were 0-10 and crippled with injuries. We ended up with 4 wins and 18 losses. yes it was a massive drop from top spot. I hated the crap we copped from big footy and social media that year.

I could of tolerated it much more had we still got 16th but with 6 or 7 wins. And won a game in the 1st 5 rounds to prevent going 0-10.

Glad we did way better in 2017-8.

Also noticed Simpson spoke about injury list in his post-match. Just by looking at it (granted I'm not very familiar with some of the names), it looks like those missing from b22 are Cripps, Hurn, Jones, Rotham, Ryan. Not sure how Waterman fits into the equation but maybe him too. That 5/6 best 22 guys out. It's not a crazy amount. Throughout our Weber era, that was a good week for us. Guys who were playing included Duggan, Barrass, Hunt, Yeo, Gaff, Darling, Allen, Kelly, Shuey, Sheed.

I just can't believe that they still have the audacity to bring up injuries after a loss like that, when plenty of other teams remain at least somewhat competetive with lists like that.

It’s not even fun anymore. It’s just boring & sad.
Again...

I dont hate west coast. I am not a freagle. I just dont give a stuff about them despite the banter on bay 13.

Again.... even when the eagles had their fluke derby streak from 2015-21, they tried to hurl abuse at us. We didnt make finals from 2016-20, they did. Of course they couldnt get a reaction out of us because we all knew where both teams were at.

To be honest, the eagles fans have no choice but to go through a rebuild. They have to see it through like freo did in 2016-21.

The depths of their audacity know no bounds

I’m hoping the next derby is that Simpson or Nisbett killer.

I know they would be too proud to sack anyone after a derby but I’m hoping we really pump them to record levels.
Yeah but you know they're actually going to try against us. Won't get the sort of shit they showed against Sydney. That was complete and utter lack of effort.

No one going to bring up COVID lockdown 2020/21?
It all started then too. Players didn’t want to hub. Darling being a ****wit and showing his true colours..
2021 was supposedly their year. Cooked the last 4 rounds, including the Derby- where nailed them missing finals.
Have not won more then 2 games a season since.
The players just couldn’t be stuffed with COVID whilst honestly believe Fremantle bonded during that time.

Anyone else noticed that over the past couple of years that the media has always said Eagles will be better when their older players are back, then they end up playing worse with them?
I got banned in that West coast, time to reuild thread for telling the truth.

I said their team was old and Beaten down and crippled with injury. I was right.

Dockers had similar problems in 2016-19. Yes We did keep some 30 year olds for one season or 2 seasons too many.

I will bring up one bloke in Particular, Danyle Pearce. He wasnt a great player. He was handy in our 2012-5 finals era. He was out of contract in 2016. We gave him a 2 year deal despite turning just 30 years old. I remember the times he copped a lot of abuse on here. Saying he was sub standard or a spud. I dont think he was that bad of a player. I didnt think he was a sniper or thug either.

I didnt mind him on the list in 2017 as we had the Hill Brothers on the wing too.

2018, he was 31 or 32 years old and slowly got phased out. only played 3 dockers games in 2018. we played younger blokes on the wing Like Stefan Giro.

Also in 2018, guys like David Mundy, Michael Johnson, Lee Spurr, Aaron Sandilands and Hayden Ballantyne were also aged 30 years old or older. Spurr didnt play one game in 2018, he had that quad injury.

My point was, those blokes aged 30 or over in 2018 were phased out over a 2 or 3 year period. Spurr and Johnson were gone in 2018, Ballantyne and Sandilands were gone in 2019. Hell, Jono Griffin, Zac Dawson and Garrick Ibbotson were gone in 2017 too.

You’re not the only person banned over there for speaking logic.

It’s echo chamber or GTFO over there.

Good luck to them….. the gulf between our two teams has never been larger and will only get bigger.

I can't see them playing as bad in a derby as they did on Saturday. They truly didn't look like they cared about the result in Sydney, but their pride will kick in against us in front of their own fans.

We need to break them in the first quarter and the crowd will leave too.
