Lol Jack Bowes would fit in well at Cockburn with that kicking

Ease up with the Cockburn stuff please , I get enough of that shit from WC flogs

I hate them but Carlton played well. Nearly lost it there at the end but managed to do enough right to not give it up.

I'd love to have just one key forward like Cameron or Curnow. Just one.

Oh wait..we have one waiting..

Play Amiss!!! He at least leads at the ball and moves around.

tipping Brisbane tonight. Hope Melbourne win though
You're hoping that you tipped incorrectly?
Jonah Hill Ok GIF

Nope. I have never tipped against Freo, and I've never done well in a tipping comp. 🤣

What is up with Clayton Oliver's hair. It's an undercut, man-bun, mullet. A work of modern art.

These two teams are being uber aggressive. It's fascinating watching the Collingwood mantra go throughout the league

It is also making me sad as I think we are a mile off this attacking style. The kicks into the corridor change the state of play. Either there is a heap of attacking momentum or a turnover and the ball is flying the other way.

Hmmm, I'm not sure we are miles off this method. I think it's easy to tell your team to do it, it's simple to implement at it's basic level. Play-on and look inside at basically all times. I also think we have the cattle to do it with a load of terrific users (including our CHB) out of the backline and pretty good decision makers in the middle.

We also have the backline to cover us when it goes wrong

Surely you counter it simply by giving no options inside? I don't get how it's so effective/difficult to counter. Go back to 1 on 1 rather than a zone and it's dead.

I'm not footy smart enough to pull it apart haha but plenty of teams **** it up all the time, even Collingwood do. The general idea would be that your moving it forward fast enough so you cant just be set up inside. I'm sure they'll eventually be a genuine counter but for now and the next couple of years we seem to be moving towards everyone wanting to play that way

Yeah, I don't know. It doesn't move at the speed of light. It's a big oval, surely it's just a bit of discipline. It's more that it's caught the previous regime's game style of the Hawks etc off guard and counters that. Richmond started it, Collingwood has just evolved it a bit. Concerning if current coaches can't see the trends.
