Nothing like setting a low ball number for crowds.16,000 at a home game in Melbourne last season. Now they want less than 10,000 in counrty WA.
They set their standards very low.!

Norf want to play the Eagles at Optus because they’re shit and will make more money…we’re more likely to beat them and have less pulling power equals send us to Bunbury to a foreign ground with no advantage.

They can get ****ed
We averaged a higher home attendance than the yella's last season. They can go to Bunbury.

Bunbury and Busselton are assigned to WC in their NGA. We have some areas in between like Capel, Donnybrook, but stuff all people live there. It's a 3 year deal. WC can go down there twice, and we can do it once. Sounds fair to me.

I personally hope it isn't but can't put it past the AFL to do it.
If they won't put a team in Darwin, which would have the rest of the Territory to draw on for support and commercially, and is twice as big as Bunbury who wouldn't, then I think it's safe to assume it's definitely something that is past them.

I sure the AFL would love a third team in WA. You think all the big Vic clubs like WCE hanging around like a 1000 pound Gorilla. Even Freo which seems small compared to WC is equivalent in size to Carlton/Essendon/Richmond in terms of financial clout. But it would have to be in Perth. Where people actually live.

A third team would dilute our power and in the end AFL is run primarily by supporters of the big 4 clubs and Geelong.

Flip side is someone actually has to apply for a license etc. and live with consequences (like being murdered by a WAFC hired hitman).

So instead it'll be Canberra. Unless We and then West Coast win 7 of the next 9 flags or something. Then you can guarantee it will be here.

If someone from WA is silly enough to ask the AFL for a licence, then they have rocks in their head.
It means that it is basically dead in the water from day one.
Just like the Yellas were. Signed an agreement to pay the four mil over a four year period, then bang, the VFL demand the money immediately to keep the Melbourne clubs and themselves alive.
Fremantle get heir licence and immediately many of the extras we were promiised were snatched away.
The same would apply to any other trying to invade the curent situation. And make no mistake, both club now would be getting ready to bash the new club. It will get no favours from the AFL, WAFC, and the two local clubs,
Walking the Green mile, Dead man walking.
