What do you guys reckon of West Coasts draft picks? Hewett and Reid look alright to me but appears a few are questioning Ginbey (way too early) or its too difficult to gauge because they're such a poor team across the board?

I think Ginbey, Hewett and Reid will be very good tbh.

I literally don’t see it with their other youngsters though. Guys like Chesser, Hough, Long, Maric and Jamieson look like fringe AFL players even once fully developed IMO. The sorts that could be solid role players but they’re certainly not difference makers whatsoever.

The majority of the West Coast’s best players are still 28 and over. They look like they need a few very good drafts where you get 3-4 gun players tbh. Using one first rounder well then picking a bunch of role players will mean it stays rather ugly for them (not for me!) for some time.

I’ve always said a team can’t go through a season winless. This year however I wouldn’t be surprised either way.
