Someone made a good post about it like a decade ago but the frustrating thing about Dwayne is he could potentially be decent commentator if he just called the game straight.. imo he's not dumb like your King meatheads and has a smooth calling voice unlike an Underwood but he just throws in waay too much tryhard crap.

Cheapies or not, the guy kicks goals every week and is a 22 year old KPF. I’d have liked him and think he’d make us better but sounds like he’s staying which kinda sucks
With Cyclone's improvement this season there's no way coughing up two high first rounders for McDonald represents good ROI. Better to fill a gap elsewhere or take them to the draft.

Amiss has McDonald covered and JT brings a POD and that bash and crash that complements Jye's class.

Barring an injury from the Bulldogs big three up forward. Rory Lobb isn't playing another game.

Darcy gonna be dangerous in a few years.

That could be the FIRESTARTER!!

Pickett occasionally does some flash stuff but really is such a spud overall. Already cost Richmond several i50 entries

Lol at King’s goal kicking atm

Yes with hindsight but would you give those picks for the last whatever number of seasons of Hogan playing at the level he's at now and Lobb playing to the level he did?

Not to mention what Sturt might have achieved if his body hadn't completely failed.
We were trading for what Hogan is doing now. That's worth it on its own.

Its easy to say now oh the warning signs were there or whatever but we were screaming out for exactly the player that he's turned out to be.
I would have preferred 2 top 10 picks myself. The last time we had 2 top 10 picks picks we got Amiss and Erasmus. The time previous to that it was Young and Serong.

Even if Erasmus is a bust (and it's too early to tell) that track record suggests we would have got more good AFL games out of 2 top 10 picks than out of a combo of Hogan, Lobb and Sturt.

(Mind you with Rosich and Lyon dominating the football department they probably would have effed it up)
