They were without Tom Barrass and Lovechild and down by 3 goals midway through the last. I’d say they went ok and will surprise a few sides at home provided health wise they hold up.

It’s technically correct with a huge asterisk.

Soccer as a name is a shortening of the aSOCCiation bit of association football (typo for effect) afaik and the origin is British from memory

Either way it’s still football - whether soccie football or otherwise

It’s all contextual. Footy for me is Aussie rules and football is world game/round ball/association football
