That was before his last round of public self-entitled BS. There might be someone willing to take a punt but it would not be for very much.
Not sure the clubs care as much about that as the footy followers. If he makes the team better for someone, they will put up with almost anything. It was only a couple weeks ago that some teams were salivating over the prospect of picking up Tarryn Thomas.

Do you think this guy would really reflect on his decisions in any self critical or empathetic sense?

He’s too busy thinking he’s the smartest guy in the room and talking his clients into making an extra dollar to care about how their actual football careers are impacted IMO. He’s a snake and his biases against certain clubs and for chasing money and winning a deal on paper get passed onto his clients because he’s a sweet talker and has them thinking he’s in their corner and knows what’s best for them.

I was thinking the same thing about his clients the other day. Take a guy like Griffin Logue who was a loyal clubman who loved the dockers, from WA. Obviously gets a better offer but lots of players do and stay for loyalty and success - but he’s being pushed all the way to North by Young who wants another trade win and bonus and had Griff wrapped around his finger.

Then you have someone like Lobb (thank god he left though) being convinced the bulldogs of all teams were a good fit cos they came in with an extra year, since it’s all about winning the deal, not playing football. And pretty sure Lobb was just dumb enough to mouth his and Young’s private discussions about being ‘poorly coached’ at Freo etc to the public.
The bolded part: that would be a big fat no! A very soulless, pitiful excuse for a human being. Shamed to have the same first name as this money-grubbing marionette

I almost felt sorry for him, but he’s bought this on all himself. You can’t be in a team environment & be as selfish as he is.
And when you have a manager who is the same, it’s not going to end well.
I've never seen a 200cm player go to ground as often as he did last night. The bloke flipped, and flopped all over the ground.

I wouldn't begrudge him, if it wasn't for his pot shots after leaving.

Statistically, he had his career best season in 2022, with big moments in a young team which played, and won a final. Yet he got too big for his boots. He wanted more, and claimed he wasn't being coached correctly.

I wonder if Colin Young ever reflects on putting his clients on a worse career path. Logue, Lobb and Hamling all would have been better off from a football perspective if they stayed at Freo. The short term cash hit is not worth it if your career is stunted.
This is the tale of his manager’s legacy. It is littered with casualties of his avarice.
I think back to the total destruction of the career of Mitch Clark which was entirely attributable to his manager, the very man advising Rory Lobb right now.
I don’t know who Liam Henry’s manager is but I would not be surprised if it’s the same one ill advising Rory Lobb.
If history is any guide, Liam is destined to be another victim.

All Colin Young I believe
