It's be nice if that were true but I fear the axis redraws itself. They did manage the lowest modern era combined rating as at about round 15 last year however so far as I can tell. (The worst ever starting position is still owned by GWS in 2013 however - with GWS having the lowest ever finishing position in 2012).
Yes I believe it does. I like my story though.

Am I the only one that doesn't think the kick by Sicily is that bad? It is a shit action but the impact wouldn't bruise a fly. The part everyone should be up in arms about is the way he lifted and then dumped McGrath.

So the clubs injury report is now just outright rewriting history to to try to cover for their utter incompetence.

Allen did not report any soreness before, during or immediately after Sunday’s match against Port Adelaide, but underwent scans on Tuesday after experiencing swelling which revealed some bone stress.

So are we all just going to pretend that he didn't miss the final preseason game against the crows with knee soreness before being cleared to play against port?!

He got sore, they failed to correctly diagnose the issue, and as they did time after time and player after player for the past two years they figured 'she'll be right' and sent him out to play port. And it got worse and now he will miss much longer.

That's all there is to it.

I honestly don't know what the point is in supporting this lying, incompetent pathetic excuse for a club anymore. Nothing has changed and anyone, member or journalist who is willing to accept the utter, utter bullshit emanating from these self serving liars at this point needs to check themselves in for a brain scan.

What's changed?. After two horrific years has anything at all changed?!.

Kicking is a dog act. Spitting wouldn’t bruise a fly either but it’s accepted that you just don’t do that. Should have been suspended for mine.

Agree that upending McGrath was serious and DID have the potential to cause injury. Serious injury too.

He was sore and didn't play their last preseason game but the medical staff is a rabble and hand-waved him to play this week, which just made the injury worse.

This model where they’re forced to trade certain picks away surely just end up in them being devalued no? My very first instinct is that there’s potential for some stinker trades if they do this

Their example of the Eagles is stupid. Trade away talent that won't be there for your next push for a flag but they don't have anyone that would realistically net them a top 10 pick other than probably Allen and he won't be going anywhere. Not to mention you can't just play a whole heap of kids. The kids need experienced leaders on the field with them and training with them day to day to develop.

It will definitely hurt any club in their position when Tasmania comes in. The AFL and their mouth pieces in the media can spin it any way they want. It is plain wrong.

The teams in rebuild mode at the time will be absolutely screwed. It will cause at least a 5 year delay for those clubs.

For us, in our decade of dominance it will be a boost as we will benefit from trades and other repercussions of the Tassie team having entered the comp.

100% correct, it’s glorious as WC are going to be shit for years and Tassie will gimp them from becoming a contender again. I’m predicting a middle of the pack run at best before another rebuild.

If we can snag a flag with all the top 15 locked away, we might get some very good value for depth to extend our run. The whole industry overvalues premiership role players. Top 10 pick for Pearce too as the first Captain if he chose to return home.

Another reason I don’t mind going hard for McDonald. The more guaranteed good players we have in the next 3-4 years in our window the better, because after Tassie come in it’s going to get very lean imo
