I know it doesn't happen very often but I am tipping the 2 elimination final winners to knock Port and Demons out in straight sets... more confident in a Giants win though.

It's tough when you lose a final and then become that much worse the next week.

I'm going to be fascinated to see how their forward line functions with literally no key forward. Who knows, maybe it will work?

There is literally 1 key forward across both teams for this game.

I was thinking the same thing. Though I guess Brayshaw wasn't there for long last week.

Still think they'll handle the Blues though the Blues will weigh it all up and think they have a sniff.

But let's hope that it's a fierce contest.

For all the talk about Gawn having a toe fracture he's been just about BOG any time I've seen him lately . A little toe is nothing ,one jab and it wouldn't affect him at all.

From the vision Maynard appears to roll to the right and make contact with Brayshaw. Why couldn’t he have rolled left?
It was part of the Maynard defence that Brayshaw rolled right into the path of Maynard.
So in essence saying it was Brayshaws fault that contact was made.

So should we have cited Brayshaw for deliberate forceful contact on Maynard with his face ... fortunately he only impacted the shoulder so it shouldn't be high ... depending on the level of severity it would be reprimand, 1 match or 2 matches presumably served after (if) he returns from his concussion? Does he also get done for bringing the game into disrepute for tarnishing the reputation of a holy icon of the game?

I keep on hearing Montagna on AFL360 and others say that the Giants are the best performing team of the last 10 weeks. However, they haven't played Collingwood or Brisbane during that stretch, so it's just another meaningless stat.

Not sure which team to barrack for....I feel I'd rather we play melbourne but then I think of Max Gawn and go nah......then I think Carlton but then realise Vossy will really prime his boys up to beat us..

...just hope they go in real hard at each other tonight and will be stuffed for next week.

edit: if we bring in Gunston I'll spew up. Lets do something radical and go with the same team that won in brilliant fashion last week!
