If it's as you describe it's not funny and obviously others thought that.

I don't see how any joke about the Holocaust could be funny in whatever way it was portrayed. Period.
I asked a Jewish girl for her number the other day, she turned around and told me it’s 2024, we have names now.

*joke paraphrased from original telling by a Jewish girl.

damn...Collingwood rarely lose trades don't they. That is when they target players or get off them.
They lost on the Beams trade the second time around.
Risky business putting all of your eggs in the trade basket though.

Lachie Schultz says hello too! I know it's early days, but it's a fail right now.
Early days for Schultz, Beams was an emotional decision by Eddie Everywhere rather than logic...which if you look at it, if they hadn't taken him back was a great move for them.

Anyway meant largely they seem to make the right call on players....though we have been pretty decent of late too.

Obviously they're concerned about the optics of this now that its popped off in the media.

But I wouldn't be surprised if following the announcement the AFL has fielded queries from multiple clubs who have sponsors who are willing to make the same arrangements - effectively just to rort the soft and hard caps. And now they're concerned about an avalanche of applications to tick off these types of arrangements and subsequent press releases about X coach being appointed to a bogus role at a sponsor organisation.

Hocking probably forgot he doesn't have the guise of currently working for the AFL anymore when he ticks off Geelong's rorts.

Did the AFL not expect this to be announced publicly? Or did they not expect a statement saying that 'we have transcended the traditional sponsorship arrangement' wink wink.

It kinda feels like Collingwood knows their list is going to go into oblivion just as Tas comes in and are tilting for one more flag next year to offset the pain that it going to come.

Does this mean we can start dreaming of a Daicos duo at the Brisbane Lions alongside the Ashcrofts in the near future ;)
