I’m actually really sad for Gold Coast.

They really had such a good chance to play in the finals this year and have just not shown up in key moments throughout the year.

Maybe it is a bit mental for them.

Mental application is terrible.

They had that game won near 3/4 time but kept finding ways to keep the Eagles close on the scoreboard.

They were all over the shop after that. Baffling, frenetic, random handballing to anywhere and no two way running in the last quarter. A bit of kick/mark to retain some degree of composure and control would have served them much better.
