The rating of Noble and Rioli just has me shaking my head. I know Im not any where near an expert but I've seen enough to put them as just average guys who are mostly traded for token picks

I rate Rioli but not 6 and 23 in a draft where 23 gets you (apparently) like an equivalent mid first rounder type talent in other drafts.

I can’t see why 6 isn’t sufficient. But I suppose suns only care about it points.

Noble should be valued the same as Dev and Sharp. But is apparently being valued closer to Houston. Mad.

Shut both Port and the Suns down.

Port accepting Atkins is just like us accepting Ryan Bastinac as part of the Aish deal. Whats the bet that Atkins' player agent is the same one for Houston?

Fox’s trade program confirms that Atkins employs the same agency as Houston. Port getting real dudded lol.

And honestly, you’d find it hard to argue that this churn has cost GWS a flag or two.

They nail the draftees in terms of talent, unfortunately in terms of stickability, many of them are lacking.
I remember in the past the media making teams out of GWS players who had left and then doing the same for GC and the teams were pretty bloody good.

If Gold Coast pulls that off it's not terrible. First round pick for Lukosius. Trade pick 13 into next year to pick up Noble. Give up ten spots in the draft to get rid of Atkins.

I genuinely think if things don't go Port's way next year they could be a massive slider and the whole thing will implode.
Easily the best thing about Port is The Thread, and I would love to read it

Nah, if things go pear shaped they'll take it pretty well........

Awkward and unusual situation, where a significant part of the supporter base is hoping for a dumpster fire. Not sure I've ever seen anything quite like it.

Next years draft must look better to them than this years, but yeah.

They've got a prospective pick 1 that they need points for given the changes coming through.

Port's social media monitor has run up to the list management team to warn them off:

Being Port, Alberton has probably been receiving bomb threats for the past 8 hours.

First comment I read about it on the port board was basically "we've seen this before - we'll fold immediately from our tough stance as soon as we get a future third tacked onto the deal."

I hope Kern gets a lifetime contract.

No idea how Port managed to make a prelim. especially considering their injury list.

That's just a magnificent coaching performance from Kenny.

GWS must be absolutely spitting chips . Still a mystery how they managed to lose to Sydney because they were clearly the better team and then gave up a 44 point lead to us at home when all they had to do was keep attacking.

Not just Zeke Uwland, who’s a potential top 5 kid.

They’ve got Beau Addinsall who’s just as good (possibly better) as Dan Annabel. Should be a first round pick.

Dylan Patterson who’s a possible first round pick. Wing/half forward, who’s explosive, super agile with speed to burn. Just needs to put it all together.

And Jai Murray who’s a borderline first round pick.
