No one knows but him & the Dogs. It's clearly a sensitive personal situation considering journos who normally openly talk about star players acting out, aren't talking about it but know what the situation is.

Lots of discussion about trouble with his family - Im not 100% sure where he is from in Vic but I think its meant to be a bit of a messed up situation. Which seems to be the bit everyone is keeping covered up.

But at the same time there are so many stories floating around of his off field behaviour. Sounds like he has been out partying a huge amount over the last several months, including hitting on girls left, right, centre, etc no matter if they are taken or not. He is getting a lot of this sort of behaviour covered up because of "other issues"

He's from Framlingham, an indigenous community down near Warrnambool Vic.

Dont get me wrong, Ive grown up in Melbourne around plenty of AFL stars (and other sports) and worked in nightclubs and bars and seen plenty of them on a night out. Including venues that have hosted Mad Mondays. There is plenty of how they hit on girls.

But there is still a bit of a line where things become a bit of an issue - self destructive if you will. This is sometimes chasing girls and sometimes other things. Think Oliver or Buddy back in the day. Hunter, Stengle, Stringer and several others have gone through it as well. Sometimes they sort things out and sometimes they dont. JUH is definitely getting covered for a lot by the media but I'd say he is toeing the line of what they will

But “chasing skirt” is 100% normal young male behaviour, and I to worked in nightclubs through uni, and then pubs and clubs for the next 20 years.

Seriously though, I have been campaigning hard about this for the Tassie Devils stadium for a while now. The roof is only proposed for telecast purposes. When the side has to play out in the wild, brutal weather of Melbourne or other far off foreign lands (especially during finals, as ever) I mean well, wind? rain? semi cold? heat? humidity? how do we deal with these things? It will hobble this side forever.

Interesting to hear earlier today that Hawthorn aren't rolling with any intra-club matches this year, after a few serious injuries this time last year.

Wonder if we'll be following suit... Almost wonder if there's much point at this stage only a couple of weeks from the three-way down at Carrara.
