West Coast fan since 91. live in Adelaide. Remember seeing Sumich kick 13 v dogs on a fri night and i was hooked. i didnt even know of footy really til then. since then its literally taken over my life.

I’m a born and raised Victorian, never been to WA either, started following the Eagles in 92 after seeing Peter Matera light up games, I was 8 at the time and had no team prior, my whole family and friends are Carlton/Essendon and Collingwood supporters, the whole primary school was supporting one of the big 4 clubs also, I do clearly remember before I followed the eagles my best mate giving me his Melbourne guernsey, I was a Dees supporter after that gesture and unfortunately (fortunately, blessing in disguise) he took it back 2 days later so I chose the didn’t want to follow them anymore, about a month later I was an eagles man. Not one single regret and I’m blessed to have witnessed 4 premierships and countless finals appearances and so many superstars.

Born in Perth but grew up in Victoria for all of living memory.

Pretty sure I chose the Eagles because blue and yellow and that was it.

There's a bit more to it these days but the original reasoning stands strong.
