Re: North Central Football League

You are kidding yourself Smasher if you think you will come close to beating Wedderburn. I hope they have more to come in from Saturday's side??!!
Maybe! But your kidding yourself if you think Boort are a chance to win the GF this year. I rate Wyche and nearly the Saints as better sides than Boort this year, that's saying something considering everyone had written them off at the start of the year.

Didn't think much of us last week then??
Plugger didn't kick enough for you?

Anyway, Centre, it would be good if we could get a Feeny Market at the moment. Some people might want to throw away some cash on that, as I think there is a dead certainty!! Think you could put in a top 10 market??

Re: North Central Football League

Haha. Very witty Wistle. Clever indeed!:thumbsu:
However i don't think it's Ash.
I have watched a bit of Ash and he definately can play. What is he, 19 or 20? still very young and plays Key defensive role. And with reasonable success.
I think he may have even represented the west in Vic country Championships at u/18 level not long ago? must have something going for him i guess.
So are you saying smasher cant play?

Re: North Central Football League

check out the NCFL transres big phil bramley is on his way back to the navies.
will he play tomorrow?

Re: North Central Football League

Will Andrews an the big man clash, Andrews sounds very strict on his boys, from stories I’ve heard of Bramley he wasn’t the most disciplined player in the league

Apparantly another player is to also to join the Navies. This will certainly help the Navies.

Also Wedderburn is in the process of securing another player!!

Re: North Central Football League

If Bramley get his clearance to Charlton, im guessing they would have to pay some cash for his contract or something to get him. If he is fit and firing, the navies will be hard to stop. I think with Bramley forward they become a much more potent side and will take some beating when on song. Lighting quick side with a quality full forward to finish their work rather than relying on mid fielders to kick their goals? Where does this leave sullivan and Luke Hollis? Against the 2nd and 3rd backman these two are likely to kick a few bags of goals.

Re: North Central Football League

Tip for this w/e

Donald v. Burners - Donald at almost full strength will serve it up for the first half but as has been the case in earlier games this season, The Royal Blues have not been able to keep the intensity up. The Royal blues will hopefully give a good showing and go down by 5 or 6 goals. Wedderburn with to many talls forward. Ash Trollop to get Stenhouse and providing the midfield can stifle their delivery keep him to 3 or 4.

Wycheproof Narraport v. Charlton - The navies will be keen to make amends for last weeks loss and although the demons have improved, i think they have a good match up for Hawkins in Daniel Thiesz. All that i have seen of the Demons is when we played them, but form suggests they are much better side now. If Bramley plays then Charlton by 10 goals otherwise the navies by 5.

Birchip-Watchem v. St. Arnaud - The saints were very good against Donald a fornight ago and Birchip with indifferent form should not be taking them to lightly. Saints are a young running side and if they get a sniff of victory then they will be hard to stop. Needs to kick 4 and Solyom 3. The Bulls may just staring to gel together nicely they have a large influx of new players and as much as i hate to say it i think they will only improve as the season wears on. Bulls by 6 goals

From what i heard today, Sullivan isn't playing...any truth to the rumour?

Just that all this talk about Boort being good, I don't think they are any better than the Demons and Saints. Did the Demons beat you early in the year or just the Saints?

Re: North Central Football League

although Phil admitted defeat to Wardy i still rate
heres how i rate the two (with a few comparisons)

Andrews, Coatsworth
Big Shev, Scooter tully

Bramley

an Ward way down here

You may (or may not be) right... however, You dont have to be as good as someone, to be "the answer to them" as such.

For Example: Last week, Sammy Coloe played on Ben Rose... and Sam's not (anywhere near) the league that rose is in...however Sam kept him relatively quiet (considering we all know what Ben can do)

Re: North Central Football League

oi truck stop lovin', is that fatty, fatty, boom, boom, moose back playing yet? i heard that the operation to remove the tv's from under his arms was successful. all that you need to do for him now is put a grease nipple in his neck so he can turn it. as for having clint ward down so low, well....., put it this way, poor dopey shane harrison won't be throwing the kidney punches this game round. also has he worked out that you are supposed to stop for a t intersection by any chance? ;)

As for moose he is recovering really well, well a lot better then his brother in-law (beefy) after his major liposuction operation removing excess cushioning from his arse
