Re: North Central Football League

I don't give a ******** what you think mate... I don't know who you are and you don't know who I am. Post something decent for once in your life.
Heard St. Arnaud may be looking at getting a few more players from Ballarat? Can you help out MOR?

Got Him! The fish are biting today!

You seem quite concerned for some reason that I know who you are? Too much time on your hands now Uni is over me thinks.

Anymore news regarding Scott Sellers going from Maryborough to Donald?

Re: North Central Football League

From what ive heard, theres one youngster who has recently played Frankston (VFL) 2's... which will be a handy pickup should we get his services

Re: North Central Football League

Mibus and Wade back to United next year!!!!

After all the hype of Mibus he had a pretty sh it year... Apparently they were playing him in the wrong position... Normally a CHF but played most of the year down back (Correct me if im wrong?!)

I was surprised with Wade as most said he was just a basketballer filling in time. Thought he had a good year in the ruck, played well against Boort anyway...

Re: North Central Football League

everyone is to busy replying to bitchy posts... get over it and answer the footy questions at face value.

Like when i asked "which Brad Miller has gone to Horsham united"?
someone posted this and i was curious if it was the Darley BnF winner Brad Miller who spent time on Richmonds list a few years ago?

But it is a common name.

This particular Brad Miller is the former Horsham United century goalkicker who played for Perth in 2006. He is moving to Melbourne with his girlfriend soon and has agreed to play with his former club. He needs to have compartment syndrome in his leg operated on and will be unable to train during 2007 but the Diggers are happy to allow him that arrangement in return for having a favourite son back at the club.

Re: North Central Football League

is grant "banger" connors playing at the burn this year. i use to love going to the footy buying my mandatory hot dog with sauce and watch this supreme athlete light my fire, if not where is he now? last i heard him and trippa fraser were going to have a crack at kids parties. clowns, fairy floss etc etc you know!!!!

WEIDEMAN OUT!!!!

Re: North Central Football League

Have been following this thread for some time now and it seems that there are alot of quality players leaving the league and not so many signing up. This must effect the standard of the league. Taking this into account who are going to be the standout sides this year?

Maybe Charlton? Thompson a good mate of Sait'y in CMFL say's they play a year together again. I know he has 4-5 CMFL mates who are quality, looking to all have a kick together. However one of them want's them all to go to Whyche, bonus to who ever gets them, they go well in our league..

Re: North Central Football League

Wouldnt watching games, especially a variety of games help in analysing and knowing who is playing well and who isnt??? Why do you need to be playing and have football ability to come on here anyway? A fair majority of people that get on here dont play footy and watch most games...

Can anyone post a list of players from each club, thought to be coming and going??

Re: North Central Football League

J. Byrne hardly dominates the Mallee League...He didnt get a vote in the league b&f and didn't 'dominate' like a sonny lindsay or justin clarke does... They dominate. He might go alright but he is not a star.

Many good players don't get votes. Its how they perform in club best and fairests that matter. Too often umpires are only looking at the select few- the big name players
Its the club people that really know what the player is asked to do in the game. eg. many taggers don't get votes but have a job ot do. I would love to c byrne back at boort

Re: North Central Football League

Boort losing the following as far as i'm aware:
All 3 Rutly's (back in the Essendon League), both Picioane's (playing at Keilor), David Armfield (injury i think) Aaron Wilson most likely (training with Geelong currently), Luke Cooney most likely too. One or 2 others have question marks
Anyone else know bout different club's losses and gains?

When you say Wilson is training with Geelong, are you talking AFL, VFL or a team in the Geelong league??

training with Geelong AFL/VFL .. not sure but i'd say they would most likely be training together over the pre-season. Geelong's VFL side is where i think wilson would be most likely headed though.

You can't be serious...the AFL?? Is he a chance of getting drafted? From what I have heard he did'nt even take footy in the North Central League. How would he survive in the big league? I think someone is choking your chain boys....

Re: North Central Football League

I can assure you now that he has been training with Geelong. Saw the boy saturday night and he was staying off the beer because of it. He got invited to train down with the Geelong reserves, so the VFL. He received an official letter and was also phoned asking him if he would like to have a run with them. Best of luck to him, good player and even better bloke. Lets hope he can get a run with them, or for Boorts sake maybe not...
