R Rutley made the NCFL Team of the Year? That's got to be a joke!!

Is it true the only reason he is staying at Boort (although his brother's will play in Melbourne) is due to the fact the Melbourne club's won't pay a cent for him but Boort will.

I am sure Willo has the ability and potential to make a good career out of it at VFL level. Much like Ross Young, didnt get drafted because they thought he was to small but persistance and hard work paid off and now he has got himself on a rookie list. After playing good footy week after week. Kick four last week as well. Ross, never tore games apart before he left either was still a kid. Much like Willo, as he matures maybe Geelong will get the best out of him.

Big Call, ask a few people around the ammo's in melbourne and I think you would get a differing opinion on whether or not Ross Young tore games apart! Havent seen Aaron Wilson play much so cant comment on him but Ross has always been an extremely talented footballer and was consistently in Donalds best as a 16 year old before he left Donald.

Some are missing the point. Doesn't matter how we went in the past, it matters that he is kicking plenty of kicks at a high level now and is looking good....

I've seen him play too! Not once have I seen him take a game apart. That's the type of players you would think that would be training in VFL teams. Not some kid who took a couple of grabs and what not in a good team last year. Could of picked out about 3 young fella's from Donald's side that would be more worthy.

dunno bout you fellas but pretty sure its the same bloke im thinkin of. wasnt little tonks playing off a flank in the magoos last year, an this year burn being one of the power house clubs his playing on the ball bit out there mst of had a massive preseason. and sammy barnes ruck roving pretty sure his more your centre half back sorta fella. could be wrong on both accounts but looks a bit out there. i know it says (POSITIONS NOT NAMED) but you have named positions. also thought they recruited a ruck men pos has been there since he was a pup. not nit pickin just what i picked up from what every ones been putting down, big hutto hasnt put in a clearence an not named? also see bugs coles from wyche put in a clearence to join his brother not sure on that storey but hope its only for this weekend.

Most leagues have to submit their sides electronically now and have been doing so since about the middle of last year... So for most leagues you can check out the VCFL website and in North Central's case its

And then click on teh selected sides..

Young tonks has had a massive preseason and would have to be one of the fittest if not the fittest at the burn.. So keen to do well that at one stage he did a couple of weeks of extra training sessions down with a club at Bendigo, so he would have basically been training 4 nights a week.
