Unfortunate that one of the very few NCFL's players in the AFL, Travis Baird, was delisted by the Bulldogs today.

Collingwood might pick him up as a rookie next year. He did train with them all pre season this year and would have been picked up barring something, which I can't remember what happened...

Who knows. Otherwise i'd say he will stay in Melb and play in the VFL somewhere.

either he will stay at Werribee, or go to the Bendigo Bombers (presuming hes not picked up by his 3rd AFL club)

Why would he play himself on Finlay? Would have thought there's plenty of better match-ups. Think you blokes are pretty harsh on Lockhart. He's had a pretty good year. Been a valuable contributor in most games.

Dean Lockhart is just the man to lose the GF for the `burn. When the pressure is on he loves to give away silly free kicks. If it is a Charlton V Wedderburn GF it should be a ripper of a game. Their first encounter this year at Wedderburn was probably as good of a home and away game as you would wish to see. The Burn won by a goal and Sam Barnes was the difference.

Who cares, as long as he doesn't play for Donald. Have you lost interest in the footy Roc? Wheres the cheap shots gone to the Birchip boys, facing an exit in straight sets in both grades. What are your predictions for saturday? Mad monday might be big in Birchip next week??

Would love to see Nelson come back to Donald, but i think his intentions are to head to Adealaide to play in the SANFL. I have heard of a few possible inclusions for Donald. But its just a wish list at the moment. But wouldnt be surprised if some/most/all came back. But they are most likely just rumours at this stage.
Depending on how we finish the season whether me and mullet get the job back. Still a lot of work to be done, im sure they will talk to Sacka, but not to sure whether he would come back i think he is one pretty big coin at Rupanyup and Donald won;t and probably couldnt match it if they wanted a good side instead of just one awesome recruit.

Unofficial St Arnaud FC spokes person Master of Roc has been issued with a 2 week ban from posting on Big Footy. The club has imposed the ban on the big fella due to a large activity of recruiting by the club with a large number of "sign-ons" collected this week. The shroud of secrecy over the recruits apparently needs to kept as major signings are all involved in games in the next 2 weeks at other clubs.

Interested to hear from u bend it, any truth in the rumour that A Rhodes is playing for starnaud next year. Heard he is pretty goood mates with Needs, would be intersting watching starnaud play donald if Wyatt lines up for u blokes again

Just a quick question for the followers out there in North Central, on the assumption that wet weather hits between now and next week, who would that advantage in a grand final? Wedderburn, Birchip, or Charlton?

short drive from bendigo, well worth the look, there should be 3 good matches

U13s should be a walkover for st arnaud, they along with donald have been the inform sides all year, and the only two that have even looked like a chance at a flag

u16s i think is st arnaud and donald. both sides can turn it on in no time, bex mullet and his 22 guys against supercoach lindsay ezard, whos won like 6-7 flags in a row and his 22. im tipping an upset, with st arnaud getting up

reserve (also known as over 30's) is birchip vs st arnaud. st arnaud should also get up here, after being able to play 4 guys that have featured in the reserves, quite a bit this year. birchip will be missing the almost garuanteed 3-4 goals by Andrew lee, its a massive loss in the context of the game, also with the apparent injury to hayes in the seniors, someones got to go up. while st arnaud have about 30 to pick from. Good firey contest none the less, expect T Young to hit someone early.

seniors is charlton vs birchip im hoping we get up, with a week off, ricks got the team ready and raring to go... while birchip, although they lost last week, they had 25 or so scoring shots, and after a nice swim in Lake Boort, they will no doubt come out firing too, scambler will be hard to stop, although he hasn't been the same since he cut his hair!

so yes, well worth the short drive
