The flaming red nang from boort tim rhooke will be. Raking long left boot and can take a hit. Captain material. Reminds me of a red head buddy franklin.

Haha i have never heard anything so funny as tim rhook being captian material. He is very soft and is weak when the going gets tough. Murphy333 you are exactly right...he will play the majority of the year in the 2's

Has every one signed on a coach???

Few to leave Birchip I'm lead to believe. Brad Ryan coaching Nully in '09'.

Ryno Hayes to the Burn??? Apparently he was offered $1200 to head to Moama. One would think that big coin is on offer at The burn again next year..

If Hayes is going to Wedderburn Stenhouse is obviously gone???

I have been hearing early whispers of Aaron Walklate Coaching Boort next year... obviously he is a class act. if he coached you'd assume that Ben would come and join him in the black and white like he nearly did this year..
Boort boys had a very large footy trip w/e in Albury, continued celebrations from the grand final with most players on it.
Best on performance to A. Wilson. The man is a unit

They are probably more than whispers if you went on the footy trip with them champ!

hayes won't be at the burn, no that as a fact, he told me so sat..said had nothing to do with coin, coin was ok but not half as much as Charlton's offer last year..

Well, to think i was happy with nulliwal winning the seconds grandfinal this year. Then the bloody low lives, go out and take Brad Ryan from birchip as coach (fair enough, these things happen) BUT to offer a year 10 school student $200 a game to play in that shitty league. How low can you go. Bloody hell.

Wont be cheering the nully rats ever again, fell for that trap a few times now. Surely kids that young are off limits for recruiting targets. What does everyone think? What standard does that set.

Haha probably should get your facts right before you go getting into a club like that. A few years back when the league was thinking of changing the unders comp to under 17s the Birchip-Watchem football club said they didnt want that. The kid is still eligible for under 17s football and obviously wouldnt mind having a run around in the juniors for another year. so on that note that is the bulls own doing, only got themselves to blame.

On another note the kid is obviously capable of playing senior football which he would be once again capable of doing at nullawil. It is a fact however that nullawil has not pursued this kid at all. The president actually is not on best terms with him at the moment. He has stated he is simply unhappy with the way he is treated at the bulls both on and off the field. Surely if a person isnt happy with his current situation he should be entitled to leave is he wishes.

It seems you bulls are always quick to jump to the gun. Perhaps you should have a look at yourself and ask why quite a few young ones have left the club on a bad note over the years. They've also left with little intention of returning??? Maybe looking after a few locals rather then paying bucket loads for 1-2 year players might be a start. . .

The principle of targeting kids that age, is well and truly below any standards that regular clubs employ

Couldn't have put it any better myself Silentbob, in no way has the Nullawil Football Club approached Vesikuru to play footy with the club. Having asked Ruben why he is considering coming to Nullawil he just said that he hasnt been satisfied with the treatment he has recieved both on and off the field with Birchip last season. The decision is entirely up to him and in no way will Nullawil put pressure on a kid to play with the club. I know this for a fact as I was under 17's coach last season and as much as I would have liked a few more talls on the team, President Hogan set it straight that its not in our nature to poach but will never deprive a kid of a game of footy if he wanted to play at the club. Simple.

Haha... well i agree with facts rite and silent bob that it is true with the fact of him might be going to nully. Plus heard on the grap vines that they might be also loosing some other young players from last year. Well done birchip for not playin younger kids!! its ur own fault

Shags to lose a whingeing sook like yourself as a "cheerer" for Nully is a plus. Brad Ryan wants to coach, why didn't Birchip get him before Nully? Thats because they tried to get Glenn Smith from Nully to Birchip! Before making up rumours like offering Ruben $200 a game, get your facts right. No money has or will be offered to him. Nully won't be even talking to him, but if he wants to come he will be more than welcome. Instead of getting on here making up rumours and sooking, get out a make Ruben and others WANT to stay at Birchip...the ball is in your court.

I just think it sets a bad precedent, even talking to kids of that age transferring clubs. Geez, when you are that age, and easily persuaded, it should be off limits. These kids have plenty on their plate with growing up, school, planning for their careers, and the works that come with being a teenager. The last thing they need is being influenced when they are so susceptible.

Why didn't the bulls target brad ryan as coach? I dont know, not on the recruiting committee, but they aim to bring quality individuals into the league and enhance it. So aim to recruit from the larger populations such as Swan Hill, Bendigo and Horsham. They are aiming to keep all the locals and add a coach plus a couple of extras that are needed.

Offering ruben no money, will wait and see on that one lads. I hope that is the case. I dont think Ruben would worry about playing juniors, he showed his quality in the finals, especially at donald when he was in the top three players in a losing team. Hence, bulls need to nurture that talent, which i believe Robbie Lee and team did a great job of this season.

Would be great for a young kid to drive the 20 minutes to nully, jump on a bus and go another 3 hours to the back of whoop whoop for a run around wouldnt it????

What time did the parents have to get their kids off in the morning for finals this year with nully in the juniors? Six in the morning or something ridiculous was it? Great set up there lads. No wonder the kids love it.

Obviously you havent yet realized that they havent been talking to kids of that age. no interest has been shown in pursuing ruben as a potential 09 player. Ruben has pursued the nully club and only his nully school mates at that, as a potential 09 club.

Undoubtedly robbie lee does look after his kids. It is the rest of the team that is the problem. He wasn't treated all that great from other people playing alongside him so why would he want to play in that environment.

Also good to see you agree that nully has a good set up. i assume that is why nully are keeping their younger players. Traveling to hay is a week argument. Firstly it is once a year and secondly it is actually a great team bonding session both there and back. Perhaps the bulls should try to bond a little more and players wouldn't feel so unhappy about playing at the club.

I'm glad we have gone from offering him $200 to "I hope thats the case" that we have offered him nothing. If your from Birchip go ask Ryno if Nully will be talking to Ruben. I'm not going to waste the time and space of this forum with anymore discussion on this. But I will repeat Nully have and will not offer Ruben any money, and Nully have not spoken to him about football next year. But that argument you make about travel to play country footy...Hay is 180kms from Swan Hill, St Arnaud would be quite similar from Swan Hill I'd imagine, so if thats your attitude I wouldn't bother trying to recruit Swan Hill people to Birchip.

The kids obviously like it more in nully then birchip just think how many have gone over there from birchip, must be something wrong in the sytem if most of the young kids want to leave. I no ruben pretty well and im sure his not going for any money nor have they offered any i hear, i also think that he is leaving due to things that have been said in the club that his not happy bout just like some kids are leaving due to playin every game and not gettin piked in grand final due to glory hunters that retired at the end of last season.....Well cant blame the kids for wanting to go
