AFL 360 gave a good deal of time to North Melbourne's off-field issues. Key points agreed upon were:
- Off-the-record, AFL officials are (and have been) concerned about the state of North and the performance of the board. Everyone in the media knows this.
- James Brayshaw is not good with people and needs to dramatically address the way he interacts with others if he is to be successful
- North need a chairman who gets things done and, to date, Brayshaw hasn't evidenced enough of that "can do" mentality.
- The approach to Brian Cook, dismissed as a joke by AD, must have had SOME seriousness behind it. Why even joke about it if it's not in the AFL's thoughts or if the state of North is not a concern?
